The Powell Barn's Background Powell Barn & Events is a family-owned and operated special events location in the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains' foothills. Our event will take place on our private 200-acre horse farm, which features a unique mix of grazing pastures, breathtaking mountain views, and isolated forest trails. Momma and Papa Powell, their 6 children, and 11 grandchildren make up the Powell Family, a close-knit and friendly community of nearly 25 members. After all six Powell children exchanged vows on the gorgeous family land—each making it their own with the huge range of possibilities we offer with our two event sites—the family decided to create this business. The Barn can accommodate up to 130 guests and has a spectacular mountain view, whereas The Woods is located down a meandering walk among tall trees and lush ferns and is better suited for a smaller group of up to 75 people. The Barn is a wonderful place to visit. A uniform and linen factory transformed into a spacious event space. Since 1994, we have operated as a family-owned company. I grew up with my parents who owned and ran a uniform and linen firm that is still in business now. When they launched a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee in 2001, they catered to some of the most elite clientele in the greater Atlanta region. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia, we learnt all about the ins and outs of being gracious in the hospitality business. In 2016, we sold the company, and in 2017, we renamed the space Factory Atlanta to reflect the new ownership. Ideally, we would like to collaborate with people who have a clear picture in mind for their project, their special day, or their milestone event. The Showroom is 2400 square feet and can accommodate events of up to 100 people. The glass garage door provides views of the spectacular railroad lines in the back and has enough space to accommodate a truck or a car. A lasting impression on your guests will be created by the Showroom. The Factory Floor provides you with 5600 square feet of creative flexibility. Because of the concrete flooring and 18-foot ceilings, you may design a really unique experience to your needs. You may let your creativity run wild when you have the Showroom at your disposal.

Burk Farm is a 20-acre event property in Armuchee, Georgia, set on land that transitioned from a family hunting farm into a full-service event destination. The farm offers a quiet, natural setting marked by open fields, tall pines, a pond, and a rustic wooden ceremony arch — a backdrop well suited to couples who value an authentic, unhurried celebration. The property accommodates up to 250 guests for both ceremonies and receptions, with pew seating at the ceremony location and tables and chairs for the reception included in each package. Surrounded by fine homes, in the shadow of skyscrapers, is a small oasis….the delightful village of Vinings. At its heart are two historic gems, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion. Wrapped in nineteenth-century charm, they provide the perfect setting for today’s weddings and special corporate or private events. The Historic Pace House was built from the remains of the 17-room antebellum home of Vinings founder Hardy Pace. The house served as General Sherman’s temporary headquarters where he planned the siege of Atlanta. After the Civil War, Hardy’s son, Solomon Pace, returned home to find the family home in ruins. Sometime around 1870, Solomon rebuilt the home – albeit more modestly- from doors, windows and remnants of several small cabins that survived the fire of the main house. Today The Pace House consists of a parlor, a dining room, and a bridal suite which can be used as a private retreat for the bride and her attendants or event host. This modest frame house has a sense of history so tangible that you feel it from the moment you enter. Adjacent to The Pace House, The Old Pavilion, itself a Vinings landmark, was a place where old Atlanta Society entertained and danced the night away during the late 1800s and until the early 1900s. Today guests can use this historic property to make history for themselves. With a warm, rustic ambiance, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion feature a versatile reception area that is perfect for any occasion.
