Ever since, Ruby has has been an integral part the historic Hillsboro Village neighborhood. And being directly across the street from Vanderbilt University in midtown, Ruby seems to be at the heart of things in Nashville. Perhaps Ruby's greatest claim to fame is its location within a Nashville city park, what everyone refers to as Dragon Park. The advantage of being an oasis in the park in the middle of the city is clear the moment you arrive. Decks and courtyards ring the historic structure are are used for bars, catering and everything else that benefit from the outdoors. Our focus on venue architecture and design elevates the space to what we believe to be among the finest wedding venues in Nashville. The extensive use of hardwoods, concrete and Venetian plaster combine to create a space that is interchangeably described by our clients as historic, industrial and contemporary. This speakeasy is located near the Williamsburg bridge with its own separate entrance on South 5th St. The space was renovated for creatives and is now available for your use. Thus, the look of the space is rustic and industrial including art murals and brick walls, and high pipe exposed ceilings. The floor has its original concrete, with small drains throughout. The space lets in very little daylight even during peek hours of sunshine. This allows photo and video work to have total control over the lighting. The space also comes with a multicolored LED light system that allows you to control the vibe through the space. We have a 10 foot long L- bar and small kitchen with fridge for food storage. The space is equipped with a WIFI network, great phone reception for any carrier, a powerful sound system with high quality JBL speakers wired together throughout the space, and a dj booth. All renters can use our hanging ceiling movie screen and projector to stage their own film viewings. We are a unique cafe in the heart of Historic District of Old Ellicott City, Maryland. Located right off Main St. we offer onsite private parking for all our event guests, a large and very comfortable main Cafe dining space which can seat about 40 people. Outside of our main dining room, we have a beautifully renovated privately enclosed patio with ample seating for an additional 25 guests, with twinkling patio lights, fresh hanging flowers, brick walls and wood lattices, a beautiful window with breathtaking views of the oldest merchants flour mill in the United States (Ellicotts Mills) and private access to parking, you can expect a rustic comfort when you book your event with us. We offer very flexible options of full event rental, including indoor and or outdoor space, with service staff, BYOB, delicious and customizable food options including special request menu items, specialty drinks and coffees, freshly squeezed juices, house-made mini crepes, sandwiches, snack options and grazing party platters. Offsite catering is also welcomed and encouraged, and we allow BYOB champagne, beer and wine.
