This beautiful event facility, which has been our exclusive venue for over 20 years, is located in the gorgeous 1900s-era old Fauntleroy Schoolhouse. The Hall at Fauntleroy, located in a peaceful tree-lined neighborhood yet only minutes from downtown Seattle, provides a variety of distinct indoor and outdoor settings. The ceilings are really high. Exposed brick adds warmth and texture to any room. There's also the charm of gentle light streaming in via wide windows that overlook a forested valley. There is a big raised dance floor in the Emerald Room, as well as an anteroom for the bride or other distinguished guests, among other amenities. It's a place that can accommodate up to 250 people yet feels both private and large at the same time. The Vashon Room is one of just a handful of indoor/outdoor event facilities in Seattle. Barn for Receptions in the Outdoors Beautiful rustic barn with weathered siding and rock wall exterior that is open on the east side, exposing views of the pond, waterfall, gardens, farm, and mountains. The interior is finished with a wood stove. Its partially enclosed interior is finished with clear cedar and recycled rusted tin, and it opens up to a large patio with a waterfall as well as lush gardens, hanging basket roses, and pergolas, and it has stairways that lead down to an open, grassy lawn. Strings of clear lights are strung across the patio and dance floor, creating an enchanting and romantic ambiance for your reception to take place in. There are numerous picturesque locations for the "first look" and additional photographs on the big day. There are a variety of options for your ceremony location. The facility is located indoors. A large stone fireplace, numerous windows for natural lighting, and beautifully finished hardwood wainscoting are among the highlights of this room. In addition, there is a newly rebuilt rustic barn that has been finished on both the exterior and the interior, and is clad in cedar siding. The Mansion, which was completed in 1906, has a total floor area of 10,500 square feet. There is a whole floor dedicated to a wedding suite and bridal party room, which is ideal for getting ready for and documenting your important day. In addition to a designated Groom's Quarters that's excellent for the males, the main floor has enough of space for immediate family to congregate and get ready in. While this barn was previously a working dairy barn when it was built in 1907, it was totally renovated in 2013 and is now the home of New Community Church as well as a rustic and exquisite wedding location. Walk across an expanse of lush green grass and admire the hall’s elegant fan-shaped window. Enter the double doors to discover original fir flooring and elaborate millwork. You can appreciate the illumination of the cove ceiling, by virtue of simple and elegant light fixtures. Situated in the pastoral Heritage Park, the Heritage Hall delivers wonderful views of the surrounding city and lakefront. Take photographs amidst flowering gardens during the spring and summer. It was no surprise when Houdini hurled the deck of cards to the ceiling, but no one anticipated one of the cards to become stuck to a beam. The Ace of Spades, on the other hand, did. It was the exact card that Houdini's host had selected from the deck and inserted just before Houdini launched them into the air before they were able to catch their breath. In honor of the host, C.D Stimson, a prominent member of Seattle's early business and social communities, the card was kept on display in his home for the following twenty years. Willows Lodge was his hunting camp, and it was where he spent much of his time. The Stimsons, as well as numerous other prominent families from Seattle, had country estates in the valley near the current location of Willows Lodge. They reportedly partied, relaxed, hunted ducks, and created substantial business concepts on a regular basis, according to reports. It felt appropriate to carry on the name and spirit of the old Willows Lodge with the new Willows Lodge. An extensive photo collection at the hotel's special event room depicts the early years of the valley's development. Although the current Lodge, which opened in September 2000, is open to the public and guests are more frequently looking for a nice bottle of wine than a duck, it remains a "country place" committed to superb meals, a warm fire, relaxation, romance, and inspiring business deals, among other things. Redhook Brewlab’s concept is an intersection of Seattle history and culture, a place where the city’s eclectic influences mix – art, science, brewing, food, and music. Housed within the Pike Motorworks Building, Brewlab’s space is an open modern brewery and pub concept with an abundance of natural light. A focal point inside the brewpub is a custom mural by Grammy-nominated Seattle illustrator and Sub Pop Records Art Director Sasha Barr. The mural, which spans 14’ x 18’ on the wall near the front bar, is a colorful visual collage combining the city environment, people, beer, Seattle architecture, and elements from the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Large patios in the front and back of the space increase the seating capacity from 171 to 258, making the Redhook Brewlab’s total outdoor patio space the largest in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The restaurant moved into this address in 2017, a smaller footprint than its original Bellevue home at The Bravern, where it first opened in 2009 to mark parent restaurant Wild Ginger's 20th anniversary. Inside, SKB Architects designed the space to blend Asian influences with a more contemporary look, giving the room a casual but still dressed-up feel, with a main dining room, a bar, and private dining space set apart for events. The kitchen, led by Chef de Cuisine Milan Waduge, serves family-style dishes rooted in the cuisines of China and Southeast Asia, the same style Wild Ginger's founders picked up traveling through Malaysia, Burma, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong back in the 1980s. The wine program has drawn recognition for how well it pairs with the menu, and bottles under $100 are half off on Sundays.
