Founded in 1901 as the South Coast Yacht Club and renamed in 1920, the Los Angeles Yacht Club has been a cornerstone of Southern California sailing for more than a century. The club relocated in 1993 to its current home at Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro, where its 12,000-square-foot clubhouse sits alongside the harbor with views of the marina and Cabrillo Bay. The building houses an extensive library, trophy displays, ship models, and historic photographs tracing the club's history back to its founding year. The clubhouse includes the Angels Gate Bar and Bistro, a fully staffed dining facility serving members and their guests, as well as multiple rooms available for private catered events and receptions. The club's culinary team works with event hosts to customize menus for gatherings of various sizes. An additional outstation at Howland's Landing on Catalina Island offers seasonal moorings for members extending their time on the water. The Los Angeles Yacht Club is a charter member of the Southern California Yachting Association and serves a community of racers, cruisers, and sailors of all skill levels. St. Monica Catholic Community is a Catholic parish located at 725 California Avenue in Santa Monica, California, conveniently situated off the 10 freeway in the heart of the city. The campus offers a range of event spaces that can accommodate gatherings from intimate meetings of 10 to large celebrations of 450 or more guests. The campus includes multiple distinct venues — among them the Grand Pavilion with its adjoining Grand Patio, a full Auditorium, the Learning Commons, the St. Andre Bessette Chapel, and several meeting and community rooms. Spaces are equipped with audiovisual systems, kitchen facilities, and optional add-ons including dance floors, staging, LED lighting, patio heaters, linens, and dinnerware. St. Monica Catholic Community welcomes a wide variety of events including weddings, wedding receptions, quinceañeras, birthday parties, anniversaries, and workshops. All facilities are non-smoking, and the community does not host rentals during Holy Week, Easter, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day.

Spanning more than 7,500 square feet, the venue offers three distinct event spaces — The Wood Room, The Glass Room, and The Beam Room — which can be reserved individually for intimate gatherings or combined into a single grand space for larger celebrations. The venue accommodates groups from 50 to 400 guests. The Mark specializes in fine food and beverage, bringing in-house catering and full bar service to every event.
