The San Francisco Botanical Garden offers four unique outdoor areas for creating an unforgettable event. Celebration Garden: Newly renovated in 2019, the Celebration Garden is our largest and most private and versatile outdoor venue with an amazing array of iconic plants from throughout the Botanical Garden. Conveniently located by the Main Gate, this expansive manicured garden can accommodate a variety of events including intimate ceremonies by the Thomas Church Pavilion, elegant tented receptions on the large green lawn, and casual company picnics or team-building retreats. Garden of Fragrance: The Garden of Fragrance features a large green lawn surrounded by an expansive collection of uniquely scented flowering plants. Ideal for ceremonies or cocktail receptions with up to 100 people. Moon Viewing Garden: A world away from the fast pace of the city, the Moon Viewing Garden’s zen like atmosphere is the perfect setting for couples to exchange their vows and take wedding photos. Up to 20 people for a standing ceremony only. Redwood Grove: Tucked away down treelined pathways, The Redwood Grove's gathering circle, has both a sacred and celebratory feeling for an intimate ceremony with up to 60 people. Fixed wooden benches are included. Rental Options: There are various event rental options to choose from. The 1-Hour Ceremony is ideal for elopements, intimate weddings and mini ceremonies with up to 20 people. The 2-Hour Ceremony is perfect for individuals or couples who want a short and simple ceremony and will be hosting a reception at another facility. The 4-Hour Ceremony or Event Rental is ideal for those who would like a seated ceremony, casual meeting, or a light cocktail-reception. The 10-Hour Event Rental is available in the Celebration Garden for all after hour events, or those events that include tenting, full-service catering, multiple vendors, or that have an extensive build-out. Organizations interested in renting space at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre should contact the theater directly. With 961 seats, it is well-suited for popular concerts, dance productions, community events, corporate meetings, and other special events. It is located in the heart of downtown. Guests can gather in the spacious lobby for receptions of up to 400 people. In addition to a high-quality Meyer Sound system and a standard house lighting plot that includes an inventory of moving lights, the facility is well-equipped with other amenities. The stage floor, which has a sprung floor surface, is ideal for performing dance. With wide, comfortable seats, the seating is done in a continental style. The interior of the theater is decorated with cascading red curtains that create an intimate atmosphere. The prep room, which overlooks the park and lagoon, is an excellent location for any photo shoot on the Palace grounds. Large bay windows, floor-length mirrors, a multi-stall and sink bathroom, and plenty of space for occupants to prepare are all included in the price. Suitable for photographs of weddings, engagements, and quinceaneras. The rental rates range from $50 to $100 per hour.

The Palm Event Center in the Vineyard is a contemporary winery estate in Livermore Valley Wine Country. Nestled in the rolling hills with a 180-degree view of the vineyards, this private event venue feels like a refuge while still being easily accessible to the Greater Bay Area. Romantic with a touch of glamour, the venue offers interior spaces with cool tones, warm candlelight, and sleek contemporary touches. The main Ballroom is spacious and the perfect canvas for any event decor. The venue also offers indoor and outdoor ceremony sites for couples to choose from. Indoors, couples may marry inside a large barrel room with customizable lighting and the ability to hang additional lighting and decor. Outside, couples may marry on the lawn overlooking the vineyards. There is also an outdoor terrace patio for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while watching the sunset. In addition to beautiful spaces, the venue also offers 5-hour event times, in-house catering, and a 4.5-hour full open bar. Included in all wedding packages are everything needed to host a reception - tables, chiavari chairs, linens, place settings, and glassware. Service staff and a day-of coordinator to handle all logistics are also provided. For weddings with a style of cuisine that the Palm culinary staff does not specialize in (to be determined by the Palm - i.e. Indian, Traditional 8-Course Chinese/Vietnamese, or Persian), couples are allowed to contract with exclusive outside caterers. Custom-built for weddings, the bespoke venue is precisely tailored in its spaces, menus, and offerings to give clients the perfect wedding.

Greens Restaurant is a perfect venue for any type of private event. Wedding receptions large and small, business presentations and meetings, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, alumni receptions — the list goes on and on. Whatever the event, Greens is the place for it. The entire restaurant is available for a buyout any day or evening. Greens can accommodate up to 140 people for a sit-down meal and 200 people for a standing reception. We also have a beautiful Private Dining Room that can seat up to 50 people, or host a standing reception of up to 70, though we frequently have groups of less than 25. The Private Dining Room has the same expansive views of the San Francisco Bay and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge as our main dining room, but in a more intimate setting. The Private Events Manager at Greens will work with you personally to create an event to your exact specifications. Meal service can include multi-course seated meals, hors d’oeuvres receptions, or a breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner buffet. As is the standard at Greens, our private event menus offer seasonal, organic ingredients sourced locally.

Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery is a Mediterranean Villa in the heart of Livermore Valley Wine Country. Surrounded by vineyards, it is a romantic location for couples to say their vows. The venue features a Grand Salon reception room, large enough to accommodate up to 400 guests, but intimate for smaller guest counts. In addition to reception space, indoor and outdoor ceremony sites are available. Outdoors, couples may marry under a lush arbor within the venue's walled garden. Inside, couples may marry in the Amber Room, a gorgeous ceremony room that features a large limestone-carved fireplace, ambient lighting, and large wooden doors for a dramatic wedding party entrance. In addition to the venue itself, Casa Real also is the in-house caterer. Providing elegant, fine-dining meals for guests and serving wine from the next-door Ruby Hill Winery. Packages include all that is needed to host a meal for friends and family - tables, chairs, linens, place settings, the meal, 4.5-hour full open bar, and service.
