Potowomut Golf Club has been a fixture of Rhode Island golf since 1927, when a group of golfers built a private course on rolling terrain near Narragansett Bay, in the Potowomut section of Warwick. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Walter Johnson, a disciple of architect Donald Ross, and has been carefully restored over the decades while staying true to its founding character: small, fast greens and a walking tradition that rewards strategy over length. While membership defines daily play at Potowomut, the club opens its course and clubhouse to non-members for weddings, corporate golf outings, and private celebrations. Golf outings get full course access with shotgun starts or tee times, practice facilities, and professional starter and ranger support, while receptions and dinners move into the clubhouse private dining room and patio, which overlooks the 18th green. Inn at Mystic is a historic waterfront resort set on fourteen acres overlooking Mystic Harbor and Fishers Island Sound in Mystic, Connecticut. Preston Ridge Vineyard is a working estate winery and event venue set on 60 acres in Preston, Connecticut, roughly 15 miles from Long Island Sound. Founded in 2008 by the Sawyers and Helms families and open to the public since October 2012, the property centers on a New England gambrel-style barn with a wraparound deck overlooking the vineyard rows and surrounding landscape. The Valiant is a 97-foot yacht operated by Charles River Boat Company, a family-run business that has cruised Boston Harbor and the Charles River since 1990. Departing from Rowes Wharf, with alternate dockage available on request, the Valiant carries guests along the water for weddings, cocktail receptions, and celebratory gatherings such as birthdays and reunions. Aboard, a traditional salon area with a full bar connects to a wicker-furnished fantail, while an extended bow offers a spot for photography and harbor views. An upper canopy deck provides additional open-air space for a celebration. The yacht seats 10 to 60 guests for a seated meal and holds up to 120 for a cocktail-style reception.
