Dallas Bull has been a cornerstone of Tampa's country music scene since opening its doors in 1979. What began as a small country bar quickly earned a devoted following — patrons felt like family, not just customers — and the venue expanded over the decades into what it proudly calls the largest honky-tonk east of the Mississippi. The venue hosts weekly free line dancing classes on Thursdays and Fridays, and its main stage has welcomed a long roster of country music headliners, including Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Keith Anderson, and Eric Church. The Secret Garden at Paradise Spring is a BYO outdoor wedding and event estate set on 32 acres in Lithia, Florida, southeast of Tampa. The property centers on the Secret Garden — a lush outdoor ceremony space featuring a spring, swing, altar, benches, and garden furnishings — alongside the 5,000-square-foot, air-conditioned Paradise Spring Pavilion for indoor receptions. Couples may book the Secret Garden alone or take the entire estate, which adds the Villa for up to three nights of on-site accommodations for up to 20 overnight guests. As a bring-your-own-vendor venue, Paradise Spring gives couples full flexibility to select their own caterers, DJs, photographers, and other vendors. The Tampa Bay History Center is a 60,000-square-foot museum and event venue situated on Tampa's Riverwalk at 801 Water Street, accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution. Opened in 2009, the center explores 12,000 years of Florida history across three levels of galleries — from indigenous peoples through the Cigar City era and into contemporary times — and houses the Touchton Map Library, home to one of the largest collections of Florida maps in the world. For private events, the center offers three distinct rental spaces: the Lykes Atrium, a 2,538-square-foot central hall accommodating up to 250 guests; TECO Hall, the largest indoor space at 2,697 square feet with a 14-foot ceiling height and capacity for 300 guests; and the Upper Terrace, an outdoor terrace with waterfront views of Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park suited for gatherings of up to 75. All rentals include customizable seating and table configurations, in-house audiovisual capabilities, trusted vendor partnerships, and dedicated event management. The Cuban Club is a historic four-story landmark in Ybor City, Tampa, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built in 1917 — replacing a wooden structure lost to fire the year before — the Neoclassical yellow brick building was founded in 1902 as El Circulo Cubano, a mutual aid society for Cuban immigrants. Today it operates as a multi-purpose event rental facility, hosting weddings, galas, corporate functions, concerts, and cultural events across its distinct spaces. The venue encompasses five event areas ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions: the Grand Ballroom on the fourth floor seats up to 480 guests; the historic Theater holds 475 in terraced seating across two levels; The Cantina accommodates 275 seated or 780 standing with a permanent stage and full-service bar; and the expansive outdoor Courtyard spans over 35,000 square feet with capacity for up to 4,500 guests. The building's original details — imported tile, stained glass windows, and elaborately muraled ceilings — give each space a character that newer venues rarely match.
