The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms is a 130-acre private estate in Rockton, Illinois, set amid rolling countryside just south of Beloit and within two hours of both Chicago and Milwaukee. The property has been featured on the Travel Channel and in Midwest Living, and has been recognized among The Knot's "Top 10 Timeless Venues." The estate's centerpiece is The Pavilion, a 10,000-square-foot climate-controlled barn featuring exposed wooden beams, a forty-foot masonry fireplace, and three sides of sliding glass doors that open the space to sweeping countryside views. The Pavilion accommodates up to 400 guests and is served exclusively by Henrici's, a historic Chicago restaurant reimagined to deliver farm-to-fork cuisine for on-site events. Beyond the main hall, Orchard Ridge Farms offers five distinct outdoor ceremony sites — from a manicured pergola and ancient oak forest settings to a tranquil waterfront island — giving couples a range of natural backdrops for their celebration. Ironworks Hotel Beloit occupies the site of a 19th-century foundry: Orson E. Merrill established an ironworks here in 1858, and the operation grew into the Beloit Iron Works and, later, the Beloit Corporation as it diversified over the following century. The boutique hotel carries that industrial-age heritage into its design, pairing exposed brick and iron with modern comfort in downtown Beloit. The hotel is home to Merrill & Houston's Steak Joint, one of the area's dining destinations, along with several other on-site restaurants and bars. Rotary Botanical Gardens is a 20-acre nonprofit botanical showcase in Janesville, Wisconsin, built on the site of a former sand and gravel quarry that a group of Janesville Rotary Clubs transformed into an internationally themed garden beginning in 1988. Today the Gardens hold more than 4,000 plant varieties across a series of distinct themed spaces, and are recognized among the Top 20 Best Public Gardens in America and home to one of the Top 25 Japanese Gardens in North America. The Gardens host weddings, corporate meetings, and community gatherings across both outdoor and indoor settings. Outdoor ceremonies and receptions take place in dedicated Wedding Gardens from mid-May through mid-October, ranging from larger settings like the French Formal Rose Garden, Sunken Garden, and Gazebo Garden to more intimate spaces such as the North Point, Reception, and Wellness Gardens. For year-round indoor events, the Parker Education Center and Atrium offer a slate-tiled reception hall and patio terrace for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and dinner. Once home to the Tallman family, the house serves today as the elegant centerpiece of the RCHS campus, an atmospheric setting for weddings, cocktail receptions, and card parties. Guided tours of the house explore the exceptional portico, the elegance of its reception rooms, and the practical details of 19th-century domestic life, along with the story of the Tallman family, the historical period, and the Tallmans' most famous guest. Private events can extend beyond the house itself to the surrounding RCHS grounds, porches, and campus buildings for larger ceremonies and receptions. The ground floor of the Lincoln-Tallman House is accessible via a lift, allowing visitors to enjoy key spaces of the home, though its basement and second floor are not fully accessible.

Lincoln Way Stay is a destination property set on 110 acres of prairie, wetlands, and apple orchard in Franklin Grove, Illinois, 80 miles west of Chicago and three miles from the Nature Conservancy's Nachusa Grasslands. The 1912 main house was opened to guests in 2015 and reimagined in 2024 as a fully private retreat centered on the Carriage House Loft and King Suite — a stand-alone building offering a private entrance, heated indoor parking, a full kitchen, a spacious living room, and a king suite with an electric fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. The grounds reflect the owners' deep connection to the natural landscape: a certified National Wildlife Federation Wildlife Habitat water garden with a koi pond, fountain, and flowing creek sits just outside the Carriage House alongside a yoga lawn, fireside pagoda, cedar sauna, and outdoor fireplace. Its iconic 80-foot A-frame building, named for Europe's historic abbeys and their tradition of hospitality, was built from timber and earned the National Lumber Manufacturers Association's Outstanding Wood Design award the year it opened. The resort has been renovated several times since, including a $40 million redevelopment that added the 35,000-square-foot Avani Spa and a later $50 million update to its interiors and exteriors.
