Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden is a 155-acre living museum in Rockford, Illinois, managed as a nonprofit in partnership with the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County. The arboretum traces its roots to the Taylor family nursery, which cultivated rare and hardy tree species from 1923 to 1968; the Klehm family purchased the property in 1968 and donated it in 1985, with the arboretum incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 1989. The grounds include 12 specialty gardens, 1.4 miles of paved paths, and 3 miles of wooded trails. For private events, the Garden Pavilion — a spacious outdoor tented venue with a landscaped patio — accommodates weddings, corporate events, and social functions across the 155-acre campus. Klehm holds ArbNet Level II Accreditation and is recognized under the Museums for All initiative.

Franchesco's Ristorante has been a cornerstone of Rockford's dining scene since the Salamone family opened its doors in 1986, bringing the flavors and traditions of their Sicilian heritage to Illinois. Today, the third generation of Salamones carries on the family's culinary legacy, with patriarch Frank Salamone — well into his nineties — still preparing the original sauces that have drawn guests to Spring Creek Road for decades. The restaurant's private event spaces accommodate gatherings from 20 to over 350 guests, making it a natural fit for rehearsal dinners, corporate events, milestone celebrations, and weddings. Franchesco's coordinates weddings in-house through a dedicated events team and also offers off-site catering for couples who want the restaurant's Italian cuisine at a different venue. Hotel Baker is a historic, landmark hotel located in scenic downtown St. Charles along the Fox River. The hotel was established in 1928 and exudes the charm of the roaring 20's. Hotel Baker features two grand ballrooms - the infamous oval-shaped Rainbow Room with lighted floor and the piazza-inspired Waterfront Room which overlooks the river. Hotel Baker also boasts a gorgeous English-style rose garden and river-side patio. Hotel Baker accommodates weddings, social gatherings, charity fundraisers, milestone events and more for groups of 10-300 guests or more based on your event! Hidden Creek Estates is owned and run by Kerry & Dude Frank. In 2007 they started an aviation software company and grew a successful company over the next decade. In 2018 they sold their shares and changed the legacy of their family forever. The Frank family home is in Roscoe, IL. When they learned that 30 acres of beautiful farm land nearby was for sale and would potentially be turned into a subdivision they had to do something. The property held 185 years of history, 2 miles of manicured trails, and provided income for a local farmer. In just a few days they chose to purchase the property to preserve the integrity of the grounds and its natural beauty and hoped to use it to give back to their community in some way. They weren’t sure what to do with the property and then Covid-19 hit. Kerry’s sister was about to get married a few months later, and her venue cancelled. The Frank family offered to host the wedding on the new property, and an idea sparked. This could be a really special place. Before they knew it they helped two other family friends replan their weddings on the property. As word began to spread, they realized this property was perfect to host special events and make amazing memories. After hosting a few weddings, they decided this was the perfect location to host weddings, special events, and community events. Today the Frank family continues to improve and care for the grounds and are currently remodeling their iconic antique yellow barn to host events.

The staff at Blumen Gardens delights in decorating the hall with a seasonal mix of blooming perennials, house plants, and architectural accents – creating an inviting and professional space that can accommodate up to 250 people. While many of our patrons use the room at Blumen Gardens for weddings and receptions, we also host a variety of gatherings from small parties to large business meetings, including: professional and family events, garden clubs and community groups.
