Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion is an elegant yet relaxed 40-acre private property located 9 miles from downtown DC. The venue comprises the historic Mansion, a climate-controlled tented terrace (Apr-Nov), and surrounding lawns. The Hemlock Grove is one of the most unique outdoor ceremony areas in the entire DC region. Check out lots of photos and videos on social media at woodendsanctuary. The tented terrace is the backup plan for your ceremony in case of inclement weather and can accommodate all your guests. During the winter months, our historic Mansion is ideal for receptions, holiday parties, corporate events, and so much more. There is no sales tax. BYO alcohol, no corkage. Part of the rental fee for contracts of 8 hours or more is considered a donation to Nature Forward and is tax-deductible. We even provide complete or partial buy-outs of the restaurant for larger occasions of 100-300 persons. With the help of our skilled team, plan your next event, from Sangria Hour with soccer on the screens to seated meals in the dining room or winterized patio. Chef José Andrés created Mercado Little Spain, a 35,000-square-foot food hall dedicated to Spanish cuisine and culture, in New York City in 2019. The Spanish Diner is one of Little Spain's three pillar restaurants, and it has swiftly become one of the city's most popular dining destinations. José and his crew made the decision to open this interesting restaurant in Bethesda, where José and his family live. The cuisine at Spanish Diner is truly Spanish, but you'll be hard-pressed to locate these meals in any Spanish restaurant because they're family recipes passed down from generation to generation around the kitchen table.

Almost all wedding ceremonies are held outside, unless otherwise noted. Depending on the number of guests attending, small ceremonies can take place in indoor spaces. We have a number of locations on the farm where we can provide overhead coverage if necessary. Tent rental from third-party vendors may be required as additional coverage. We have some recommendations for caterers, musicians, and bartenders, but we do not require the use of an exclusive list for any of these services. We will gladly collaborate with the vendor of your choice. Bella Vita requires that all ceremonies and large celebrations be covered by liability insurance for the entire day of the event. We offer wedding packages starting at $3500 for MicroWeddings and $5000 for weddings with more than 50 attendees. All of this includes the use of 12 round tables and 100 white chairs, as well as a dress rehearsal the day before the event. Wedding rehearsal dinners on the farm are a wonderful way to kick off the wedding festivities. Consider it a pre-party to the Big Day, held in a more intimate setting with your bridal party, close friends, and family members before the big day. In order to create a memorable ambiance, inquire about the secret garden or the undercroft. Instead of a formal rehearsal dinner, you might prefer to have a friendly game of bocce ball or axe throwing as a pre-wedding activity. The cost of a space starts at $500, which includes tables, chairs, and basic white tablecloths. You can hold a wedding or event in this beautiful glass-walled atrium, which is located within the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia, surrounded by live plants and flowers. Exposed brick walls, a cathedral ceiling enclosed in glass, and a large terrace with views of the botanical gardens characterize the Atrium at Meadowlark Hotel & Conference Center. This magnificent space can accommodate up to 230 guests, with standing room for an additional 300. Meadowlark Botanical Gardens features gazebos, a Bell Garden, and a Lilac Pavilion for photography and other event options, as well as a variety of other amenities. At The Atrium, Great Blue Heron caters all of the food for any event that takes place on the premises. The interior features live trees adorned with twinkle lights, a babbling stream that leads to an indoor fountain, and a two-thousand-square-foot skylight that lets in plenty of light. With three walls of glass, events can be held at The Atrium at any time of year while still retaining the feel of being outside.
