The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center (GEHC) sits on 233 wooded acres in Buford, Georgia, where interactive science and history exhibits share space with event venues suited to everything from corporate meetings to wedding receptions. Gwinnett County's first LEED-certified building, GEHC is a working exhibit of sustainable design — its pervious pavement, tranquil water features, and the Southeast's largest sloped vegetative roof set a backdrop unlike a conventional event hall. Reception and ceremony spaces range from intimate to large-scale. Blue Planet, the center's largest room, accommodates up to 225 guests and offers ample room for buffet, bar, and dancing. The Ivy Room seats 120 to 140 guests depending on setup, while the Dining Room can be paired with the Ivy Room for groups of around 150.
