Salt Lick Cellars is a wine garden and tasting room in Driftwood, Texas, situated next door to the original Salt Lick Restaurant, about 15 minutes from downtown Austin. The Roberts family began planting the surrounding vineyard in 2006, setting 35 acres with Tempranillo, Mourvédre, Syrah, and Grenache; the first bottled Tempranillo was released in 2008, and the tasting room opened in 2009. Guests gather on a shaded, wrap-around patio and deck beneath ancient Live Oak trees, surrounded by the same vines that produce the wine poured inside. Alongside its own line of reds and whites, Salt Lick Cellars pours other Texas-grown wines and local craft beer. Private events for up to 75 guests are available Monday through Friday, with decorative lighting strung through the oaks for evening gatherings.

Vista West Ranch is a family-owned wedding and event venue in Dripping Springs, Texas, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The property began as the family's homestead, cleared of cedar and hand-built over 35 years; the family hosted its own wedding on the land in 1996 and began welcoming outside couples in 2006, making it one of the earliest dedicated wedding venues in the Dripping Springs area. The venue's reception barn blends rustic and bohemian style, with weathered wood, aged tin, and willow sphere lighting, and holds up to 250 guests for dancing and celebrating. The grounds also include an outdoor ceremony space and a large Biergarten with a bar, two fire pits, a waterfall feature, and festoon lighting strung through mature oak trees. Rental packages include fruitwood folding chairs, farm tables, a catering prep area, a keg system, and an onsite venue manager, and couples may bring in outside vendors under a BYOB alcohol policy. Optional onsite lodging - a Honeymoon Cottage, Bunk House, Tree House, and Main House - allows couples to stay the night of the wedding or book the property for a full weekend buyout. Vista West Ranch operates alongside its sister property, The Creek Haus, located less than a mile away.

Tucked into the Texas Hill Country just 30 miles west of downtown Austin, Hawk's Shadow Winery sits on a 76-acre estate in Dripping Springs, the self-described wedding capital of Texas. The property includes two vineyards, a winery, a tasting room, and an underground limestone barrel cellar, and is the only gravity flow winery in Texas, a production method that lets guests taste wine directly from the barrel. The winery takes its name from Hawk, a quarter horse who greeted visitors while the owners developed the land and vineyard. That same casual, dog-friendly hospitality carries through to its events: patio picnics, cellar dinners, and wine club gatherings are all part of the regular rhythm of the estate. For weddings, Hawk's Shadow hosts rehearsal dinners for up to 40 guests in its limestone barrel cellar, with ceremonies held on a stone terrace overlooking the rolling hills. Larger receptions can spread across the tasting room and patio, which offer indoor-outdoor flexibility and sweeping Hill Country views.

The Creek Haus is a family-owned destination wedding and retreat property tucked into a secluded valley in the Texas Hill Country near Dripping Springs, just outside Austin. Rather than renting out for a single day, The Creek Haus books in multi-day weekend stays, giving couples and their guests a full destination experience rather than a quick turnaround. At the heart of the property sits the Barn, a reception space with moody industrial charm — Edison bulb lighting, a custom fireplace, and an indoor bar stocked with keg taps and a margarita machine. A covered open-air pavilion extends off the Barn for cocktails and conversation, while ceremonies take place outdoors beneath mature oak trees, with weather backup built in for peace of mind. Overnight lodging is part of what sets The Creek Haus apart: the Main Haus, Barn Haus, and Honeymoon Haus sleep up to 70 guests between them, so wedding parties, family, and friends can stay right on the grounds for the whole celebration. The property is a sister venue to Vista West Ranch, located less than a mile away under the same family ownership, and beyond weddings, The Creek Haus also welcomes wellness retreats and family gatherings drawn to its creekside, valley setting.
