When it comes to elegance and charm, the Grand Ballroom delivers both. It has a capacity of 160 for a plated dinner and 225 for a cocktail reception. The Grand Ballroom is located on the second floor and has a beautiful crystal chandelier in the center. This 2,500 square foot ballroom, which has been meticulously restored to its 19th-century beauty, served as the original McKinney Opera House from 1885 to 1923. The Grand Ballroom is an excellent choice for your reception, and it may also serve as a setting for your ceremony. The ability to hire a full hotel suite allows each bride and groom to create an unforgettable night for their guests. The Grand Hotel, which combines old-world elegance with a strong focus on style, is widely recognized as one of the top luxury hotels in Texas. The Bevel Reception House can accommodate up to 75 people for your reception, with additional seating available beneath the pavilion for up to 150 individuals. The Surrey House is a big historic residence that was constructed around 1910. It has withstood a century of tornadoes, fires, and other natural calamities to become one of the most well-known wedding venues in the North Dallas community. A complete renovation of the facility was carried out in 1998, and a partial renovation was carried out in 2011. Just a few blocks south of the old town center and the magnificently renovated county courthouse, you'll find this stunning residence in McKinney's historic area. Behind the main home is a big deck that overlooks the rear yard and a wedding gazebo that was expressly created for the occasion. Brides and bridesmaids can get ready for their special moments in the bridal cottage, which is located at the southern end of the backyard on the south side. It is possible to host events of up to 150 people in the Surrey House and its surrounding grounds. If an event, such as a reception, is to be held solely within the Surrey House, the maximum number of attendees is 100 people. Indoor seated weddings are limited to a maximum of 100 people. With floor to ceiling mahogany wood walls, climate controlled wine shelves, a private restroom, a private bar, and six commissioned paintings reflecting McKinney's heritage, Rick's 110 offers solitude and luxury. Wine Room Our international wine list is housed in floor-to-ceiling wood racks in the Wine Room. This private space can accommodate up to 12 people for a conference or up to 34 people for a seated supper and is also a working wine room. Library The Library is surrounded with cookbooks that are favorites of the owners of Rick's Chophouse. The Heritage Farmstead Museum (HFM) is the main living history site in North Texas portraying the Texas Blackland Prairie region. It is located on a working farm. The HFM, which is certified by the American Alliance of Museums, aspires to provide a glimpse into the past for individuals of all ages, interests, and origins. The museum is a public service institution, and it is held responsible to the public by government, self-imposed, and peer-imposed rules and regulations. The mission of the Heritage Farmstead Museum is to collect, conserve, and explain the history of the Blackland Prairie during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries while making proper use of the authentically restored Farrell-Wilson Farmstead, which is a recognized historic site.
