Watson in a mix of Gothic, Chateauesque, and Renaissance styles. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Texas Historic Landmark, the house sits at the corner of 15th Street and West Avenue and is owned and operated by the Austin Junior Forum, a nonprofit whose rental proceeds fund community grants. The two-story house hosts weddings, receptions, luncheons, fundraisers, and recitals across its courtyard, balcony, and indoor spaces. A Steinway piano sits in the second-floor turret, and the balcony overlooks the Texas Capitol and downtown skyline. The house's first floor offers roughly 2,600 square feet of gracious public space, including an entrance foyer, dining room, gallery, and living room, all centered on the Julius and Suzan Glickman Room. A 1,000-square-foot wraparound porch and east and south terraces extend the setting outdoors, while a second-floor library adds further character. A catering kitchen, elevator, and large restrooms round out the building, which is ADA accessible with parking available.
