Guests will be led into the reception hall after cocktail hour, where they will find their seats at tables that have been pre-decorated and numbered according to your preferences. With an announced big entrance, the new happy couple and their entourage will be revealed to guests. For the remainder of the evening, the pre-planned program will be followed, which may include speeches, cake cutting, dinner, and dancing. Dinner will be shared and enjoyed by friends and family. The Cocktail Hour Gazebo is a terrific area to serve beverages, refreshments, and hors d'oeuvres to your guests. Before proceeding to the Reception Hall, guests will have the opportunity to mingle and enjoy our lovely surroundings. Sorensdale Recreation Center is a community event venue in Hayward, California, operated by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Located at 275 Goodwin Street in a quiet cul-de-sac setting near Tennyson High School, the center underwent a full renovation in 2016 and now offers a modern, welcoming environment for private events. The main hall accommodates up to 130 guests and features 20-foot ceilings, large windows that fill the space with natural light, and a commercial kitchen equipped with stainless steel surfaces. A stage and on-site parking round out the facility's event amenities. Sorensdale Recreation Center is available for a wide range of private gatherings — weddings, receptions, auctions, theatrical performances, and community celebrations alike. Rental hours run Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday, 9 AM to 8 PM, with a three-hour minimum. Rentals of Facilities The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District has a variety of venues available to rent for your next celebration or happy occasion. Each venue has its own own design components and aspects; make a reservation today and celebrate tomorrow. Minimonies at Ravenswood At Ravenswood Historic Site, we are introducing outdoor "minimonies" (mini-ceremonies). Exchange your vows in an outdoor environment with up to 50 guests while keeping all aspects of social distancing in mind. Choose from a romantic garden gazebo, a rustic covered tree patch, or the classic shaded tree archway for your ceremony. Included are the bride's room, tables, chairs, restrooms, parking, and a building attendant. Applicants have the option of hosting a small event with a champagne toast and individually prepared food. A minimum of four (4) hours is required; any additional hours will be charged at the hourly rental rate. Facility Event Rental Process at Ravenswood Applications are accepted eighteen (18) months in advance of the requested date, on a first-come, first served basis; preferred dates, times, and facility location vary. Applicants must submit a completed and signed Facility Rental Application, as well as a refundable deposit, to book and reserve the day. All other rental fees must be paid 45 days before the event date. If applicants want to rent with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, they must understand and obey the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations. A facility, date, or requested times are not guaranteed or secured by submitting an application.

Diamond Banquet Hall & Catering is a full-service event venue located at 10 Hegenberger Road in Oakland, California. The hall is designed to host a wide range of celebrations — from weddings, quinceañeras, and bar mitzvahs to birthday parties, graduation parties, family reunions, holiday gatherings, and corporate meetings. The banquet hall features a spacious main hall with elegant chandelier lighting, a dedicated dancing area, and a flexible layout that supports a variety of table configurations and décor arrangements. Temescal Beach House is a historic lakeside event venue in Oakland's Temescal Regional Recreation Area, situated along the shores of Lake Temescal near the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 24. The structure was built by the Works Progress Administration and opened to the public in 1940, originally serving as changing facilities for park visitors and the original headquarters of the East Bay Regional Park District. Today the venue is managed by the East Bay Regional Park District and welcomes weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, and private celebrations. The Beach House offers two connected indoor rooms and a large outdoor flagstone patio. The Fireside Room seats up to 56 guests around a gas fireplace, while the adjoining Lakeview Meeting Room seats 24 and features large windows framing views of the calm lake. Together the rooms accommodate up to 80 guests seated or 130 standing. The wraparound flagstone patio — bordered by a vertical garden with panoramic lake views — serves as a popular ceremony and reception extension. Included amenities span a prep kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, and microwave; heating and air conditioning; Wi-Fi; a 65-inch television with soundbar; a dressing room; tables and 90 white resin chairs; and a dedicated 15-space parking lot. Events with hired catering must use the District's approved caterer list; a bring-your-own food option is available for gatherings ending by 7 p.m.
