Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose occupies a striking purple building designed by Mexico City-based architect Ricardo Legorreta at 180 Woz Way in downtown San Jose. The 52,000-square-foot structure houses 28,000 square feet of gallery space featuring more than 150 interactive exhibits spanning science, art, nature, and culture, alongside Bill's Backyard — a half-acre outdoor nature play area that opened in 2017 with climbing structures and dig areas. The museum transforms into a private event venue in the evenings, accommodating gatherings from 50 guests to celebrations of up to 500. Indoor gallery spaces and the outdoor Bill's Backyard area are available for a range of occasions, from corporate events and company celebrations to engagement parties and milestone gatherings. The San Jose Woman's Club occupies a 1929 California Mission Revival landmark in downtown San Jose, designed by the Wolfe & Higgins architectural firm and listed as Landmark #32 on the City of San Jose Historic Register. The building's tiled features, crafted by ceramicist Albert Solon, and its original 3,000-square-foot ballroom floor reflect nearly a century of careful preservation. The venue accommodates up to 200 guests across a selection of rooms that clients choose and combine to suit their event — whether a ceremony, reception, buffet, or multi-room celebration. The ballroom includes a stage with opening and closing curtains and supports a full range of seating and setup configurations. Clients coordinate their own caterer, giving each event flexibility in food and budget. Rooted in the community since 1894, the San Jose Woman's Club makes the building available for weddings, social events, and fundraising gatherings, offering a historic setting that few venues in the South Bay can match.

Located on the Campbell Historical Museum grounds, Ainsley House is owned and administered by the City of Campbell in the name of the public trust. Through innovative and relevant activities, the museums interpret the history of the Campbell area, from its pioneer roots to the present day. We encourage you to come and explore our museums, where you will learn about the past and future of the Orchard City. Located in the middle of downtown Campbell, the Ainsley House and Garden is a wonderful old mansion with a stunning garden. An elegant backdrop for a wedding, anniversary party, baby shower, birthday celebration, or company party may be found in the 3200 square foot garden. We are an a la carte location, which means that you can create a unique experience for your guests. In order to ensure that your event runs successfully, our competent and courteous crew will be on hand during the duration of your event. Due to the fact that we are an outdoor venue, the garden is only accessible for rental from May to October. It is possible to accommodate up to 200 people for a ceremony and a seated meal in the garden. Site tours of the Ainsley House Garden can be arranged with prior request. Reservations for the year 2022 are now being accepted. Please be advised that the Campbell Library will be closed during the summer of 2022 while construction is taking place. India Community Center (ICC) is a secular, non-profit community organization and event venue situated in Milpitas, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The 40,000-square-foot facility on North Milpitas Boulevard welcomes gatherings of all kinds — from intimate studio sessions to large-scale weddings, concerts, and cultural festivals. Across its multiple event spaces, ICC accommodates groups ranging from 10 to 825 guests. The flagship Malavalli Auditorium seats up to 550 banquet-style and 825 theater-style, and is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, drop-down projection screens, and a LED backdrop. Within these walls, we celebrate weddings, graduations, Quinceaneras, bar/bat mitzvahs, festivals, infants, birthdays, and memorials. This Arts and Crafts bungalow, established by the ladies of We and Our Neighbors, is a historic landmark and California's oldest continuously utilized women's clubhouse. The San Jose Clubhouse welcomes you to host your next event with fewer than 80 attendees. This charming establishment has been meticulously preserved and upgraded to retain its original charm. It's perfect for modest weddings, anniversaries, bridal or baby showers, memorials, business meetings, birthday parties, boutiques, art displays and music recitals, and more, thanks to its comfortable masonry fireplace, hardwood floors, and stained glass lighting. "We and Our Neighbors" are our auxiliary and celebration guides, for which we are grateful. We and Our Neighbors, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, owns the San Jose Clubhouse. "We and Our Neighbors is dedicated to fostering educational and social events among its members, conserving the historical clubhouse, and supporting important causes in the adjacent as well as broader community," their mission statement states.

Hakone Estate and Gardens is one of the oldest residential-style Japanese gardens open to the public in the Western Hemisphere, established in 1915 on 18 acres in Saratoga, California, at the edge of the Santa Cruz Mountains overlooking Silicon Valley. The estate combines authentic Asian gardens, historic buildings, and a serene natural setting that sets it apart from conventional event venues in the Bay Area. Three event spaces accommodate gatherings of varying sizes, from intimate dinners to outdoor receptions of up to 180 guests. The Madrone Mound, an outdoor reception area tented from late fall through mid-spring, hosts evening events for up to 180 guests. The Cultural Exchange Center seats up to 50 guests for dinner and opens onto an outdoor viewing deck, while the Lower House (Dry Garden House) offers a more intimate setting for up to 40 guests. Ceremony and reception areas are wheelchair accessible. Hakone welcomes weddings, receptions, corporate events, and special occasions. Outside caterers are permitted with approval, and guests enjoy full access to the surrounding gardens throughout their event.
