The North Shore Center is a lively two-theater complex that hosts performances, lectures, seminars, and other audience-oriented activities. The Grand Lobby and ancillary rooms connect the theaters and can host events such as receptions, banquets, and trade shows. There are 867 seats in all at the Center Theatre, including 527 on the main floor, 300 in the balcony, and forty in the side boxes. When at stage level, the orchestra pit's adjustable lift produces a stage extension. The Center Theatre is known for being a pleasant, intimate auditorium with excellent acoustics that can accommodate any size show. The farthest seat from the stage is barely 80 feet away. With extra areas ideal for rehearsals, breakout rooms, or private pre- or post-show refreshments, the North Shore Center can accommodate any event. Katherine Legge Memorial Park's Lodge is surrounded by 52 acres of beautifully landscaped parks. It's a beautiful relic from a bygone period. The Lodge, built in 1927 and designed by R. Harold Zook, one of Chicago's most known domestic architects, emanates grace and elegance. It can accommodate a wide range of special events and occasions, from weddings and social celebrations to corporate meetings and retreats, and is as versatile as it is engaging. The first floor of the English-style structure is full of charm, with a large living room with a fireplace, piano, dining room, kitchen, alcove, and access to the lovely patios and grounds, which can be utilized for outdoor events. ​ The Lodge is an ideal location for weddings and receptions. A lovely dining room, living room, and alcove for seated meals and cocktail gatherings can be found on the first level. A ballroom on the second level is excellent for indoor wedding ceremonies and dancing. Outdoor weddings, receptions, cocktail hours, and photographs are all enhanced by the wedding arbor, patios, and gardens. The Lodge works with a variety of pre-approved special event partners, such as caterers, alcoholic beverage distributors, and a full-service tent rental company, to help you plan your big day. Francesca's Fiore is an Italian restaurant in Forest Park, Illinois, specializing in wood-fired pizzas, fresh pastas made daily, and desserts crafted in the on-site Fiore kitchen. The restaurant grew out of the culinary vision chef Scott Harris brought to his first trattoria in 1992, and the same philosophy guides every plate: thoughtful ingredients, honest cooking, and close attention to detail. The space reflects a casually sophisticated trattoria character suited to private gatherings, rehearsal dinners, and celebratory meals. Private events and catering are coordinated through Scott Harris Hospitality, which manages the full portfolio of the group's restaurant concepts.

Pleasant Home is considered one of the nation's earliest and most distinguished examples of Prairie School architecture, and it is operated as a living museum by the Pleasant Home Foundation. It is open to the public year-round and offers a year-round schedule of educational programs, community events and festivals, and cultural performances. The mansion, created by famed architect George W. Maher in 1897 for investment banker and philanthropist John W. Farson and his wife Mamie Ashworth Farson, is located on the grounds of the University of Chicago. Pleasant Home's architecture deviated from the usual Queen Anne and colonial revival designs that characterize the majority of the residences in Oak Park. Farson's home is distinguished by its simple massing, its large front porch, the smooth surfaces of Roman bricks and stone, and the employment of ornamental themes to harmonize the interior decorating and furnishings, all of which contribute to its status as a premier Prairie Schoolhouse. Featuring rich bespoke woodwork throughout the property, amazing art glass windows, a giant fireplace, complex woodcarvings, and tile work, the 30-room architectural marvel is a showcase of 19th-century workmanship and talent. Pleasant Home was officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and it has been there ever since. It was included on the Illinois Historic Structures Survey the next year, in the same year. Pleasant Home was designated as a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service in 1996, and the Village of Oak Park designated it as one of the original Oak Park Landmarks in 1997. Oak Park's vast array of architectural and cultural treasures is the focus of The Pleasant Home Foundation's efforts to restore, preserve, and operate the home as a beloved local civic institution as well as a destination for visitors from around the world who come to enjoy Oak Park's vast array of architectural and cultural treasures.

Hickory Knolls Discovery Center is a nature education facility operated by the St. Charles Park District, situated on its own natural area at 3795 Campton Hills Rd. in St. Charles, Illinois. The center draws visitors through live animal exhibits, educational programs for all ages, and access to restored natural areas — making it a distinctive setting for gatherings that go beyond a typical meeting room. The Savanna Room is available for private events and accommodates up to 40 guests. The space features large windows overlooking the surrounding natural area, tables and chairs, audio/video technology, and WiFi. The Irish American Heritage Center is a hidden jewel on the city's northwest side that is ideal for hosting meetings, social events, and group celebrations for both large and small groups. Private events can be held in the full Irish American Heritage Center or in individual rooms for smaller parties. We rent on a daily and hourly basis. In addition, we have two parking areas to accommodate your guests. ERIN ROOM The Erin Room, located on the fourth floor, is a private floor with a private bar, enormous glass windows, and crystal chandeliers. This magnificent area, which is conveniently accessible via our elevator and stairwells, is the ideal location for your wedding, benefit, anniversary, or concert. THE FIFTH PROVINCE HALL The Fifth Province Hall, which is located on the first level, features magnificent architectural aspects such as high ceilings and wooden accents. Because it is directly across the street from our Fifth Province Pub, this is one of our most popular rooms for a traditional Irish wedding. THE CEILI & SHANACHIE ROOMS The Ceili and Shanachie Rooms, both on the first floor of the Center, are ideal for family gatherings, fundraisers, and dance courses. THE MCGINTY ROOM The McGinty Room, on the third level, has an Irish feel to it and features a built-in bar as well as a stage for performance. This space is ideal for your upcoming baptism or communion. THE MAYFAIR THEATER This 658-seat theater is great for your next concert, play, dance performance, movie screening, or recital. ROOM 311 This exquisite space is on the third level and has windows on the west side, allowing natural light to stream in and accentuate the lofty ceilings and opulent embellishments. The Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall occupies a 2007-renovated historic building at 31 South Ellsworth Street in Naperville, Illinois — a former church that North Central College transformed into an intimate performing arts venue. The theatre's thrust stage configuration seats 229 guests across the main floor and balcony, creating an up-close atmosphere well suited to musical productions, plays, speaker events, panel discussions, and private ceremonies. The space is air-conditioned and fully accessible, and comes equipped with a data projector and video screen, a green room, dressing rooms, and a lobby that can serve as a reception area before or after events. The building is named in honor of Judy G. Meiley Swallow Stevenson, an entrepreneur, North Central College life trustee, and generous benefactor to the college. The Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall hosts North Central College's theatre department productions as well as community artists and groups, and is available for rental through North Central College Conference Services.

Unity on the North Shore is an Evanston spiritual community that has been hosting life ceremonies since the congregation moved into its current home on Christmas Eve 1960. The building — designed in a modern style and purpose-built for gathering — features a curved brick sanctuary and a brick courtyard set alongside a garden. The ministerial team performs weddings, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, spiritual baptisms, funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life, customizing each service to reflect the family or couple being honored. Seven Bridges Golf Club is a public golf course turned private event destination in Woodridge, Illinois, situated about 30 minutes from downtown Chicago and 25 miles from O'Hare International Airport. Open since 1991, the club has built a long track record hosting weddings and private celebrations, and hosts one reception per evening to ensure each event receives undivided attention from staff. The venue's interconnected event spaces — The Gallery, The Grill, and The Rotunda — can accommodate up to 270 guests across a combination of intimate gatherings and full receptions. The Gallery features cathedral beams, exposed brick walls, large picture-frame windows, and draped café lights; The Grill pairs cathedral ceilings with a permanent 22-foot wooden and copper bar, plank flooring, and views of the golf course; and The Rotunda offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the landscaped gardens with a five-foot metal crystal chandelier as a centerpiece. An outdoor ceremony site, covered veranda, and early-arrival photography access are also available. All events include in-house food and beverage managed by an executive chef, along with linens, tables, chairs, glassware, flatware, on-site managers, and a dedicated planning coordinator. Outdoor ceremonies are pet-friendly for ceremony and family photos.

Froggy's French Café has been a beloved fixture on Chicago's North Shore since 1980, when founders Gregg Mason and Chef Thierry Lefeuvre opened its doors in Highwood, Illinois. Now in its fifth decade and maintained in partnership with Bill and Sheri Cartwright, the restaurant has built a reputation for seasonal French cuisine prepared with fresh, distinctive ingredients — earning recognition from Zagat and Wine Spectator along the way. For private events, Froggy's offers three dedicated spaces. The Greenhouse Bar accommodates up to 25 guests and is available Saturdays for lunch and Sundays for events, set beneath warm lights and lush greenery. The Wine Cellar holds up to 50 and is accessible daily with customizable layouts suited to seated dinners and intimate receptions. The Dining Room seats up to 80 and is available Sundays for lunch or dinner and Saturdays for lunch events. Throughout all three spaces, artwork by Jacqueline Lefeuvre gives the rooms a distinctively French character. In-house catering is available for on-site events, with off-site catering handled through a partner company.

Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center, located on the campus of North Central College in downtown Naperville, Illinois, opened in 2008 as a premier performing arts destination for the college and surrounding community. The hall seats 617 guests across the main floor and balcony, with acoustics designed by Talaske Sound Thinking — the same firm behind Chicago's Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. Since opening, the hall has hosted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Yo-Yo Ma, and numerous other nationally recognized performers. The Fine Arts Center houses four distinct performance venues, making it well suited for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Private event rentals are coordinated through the Office of Conference Services, and the facilities have accommodated weddings, banquets, conferences, and receptions. The surrounding campus in Naperville's Historic District offers convenient access via the BNSF Metra line, major expressways, and proximity to downtown dining and hotels.
