Visit nearby attractions such as the National Mall and Smithsonian museums, or take a bike ride along some of the most beautiful streets in the United States. HOW TO GET HERE Washington's easternmost border is formed by Capitol Hill, which provides easy access to major highways, several Metro lines, and Union Station. A number of Capital Bikeshare stations are also located in the area, particularly to the east of the Capitol. In 2009, Lord Richard Rogers designed a glass and steel building at 300 New Jersey Avenue in New York City that is bold and innovative. Lord Rogers is a well-known international architect who has won numerous awards for his work.
