Set on a private road in the Texas Hill Country north of San Antonio, Lost Mission is a wedding and special-event venue built around an authentic mission-style chapel and reception hall, surrounded by oak trees off Highway 46 near Spring Branch. The property was built beginning in 2009 by contractor Lon Danley, who drew on his New Mexico upbringing to construct the buildings from more than 6,500 stacked straw bales finished in white stucco, in the style of Old World Spanish architecture. Handcrafted details from Lost Mission's on-site workshop appear throughout the property, including hand-carved white oak and cypress doors, wrought-iron sconces and chandeliers, 1890s pews shipped in from a Pennsylvania church, and a mission bell reclaimed from a Kerrville farm. The climate-controlled Mission Style Chapel seats up to 240 guests beneath stained-glass windows, while the Modern Reception Hall accommodates up to 350 guests and features a 40-foot firewall, wood trusses, a rock fireplace, and a built-in bar. A 7,000-square-foot patio with cafe lighting and a stream-side path connects the two spaces. Lost Mission hosts one wedding per day, with rental packages that include round guest tables, cross-back chairs, a bridal suite and groom's room, a ceremony sound system, and setup and cleanup staff.

Ceremonies can take place beneath the Heritage Oak, a ceremony site set against a wooded backdrop, or at one of the property's other outdoor locations. Wedding parties get ready in the venue's renovated bridal suite before receptions move into the spacious Reception Hall. 12 Oaks Hill Country Venue does not provide in-house catering but offers couples a curated list of preferred vendors, along with the flexibility to bring their own caterer. Owner Amy Templeton, a Cal Poly-trained horticulturist who studied the Gardens of Versailles, spent 15 years shaping the grounds into what she calls "a little piece of Europe set here in New Braunfels" — a deliberate departure from the typical Hill Country look, and all the more striking for it. Ceremonies take place at an elegant 15-foot wrought-iron gazebo set among the gardens, with no extra charge for using the site. When weather turns, celebrations move indoors to the ballroom — designed in the spirit of an old English chapel, with a white marble floor and warm, elegant accents across 3,200 square feet — or to the fully covered courtyard, where crystal chandeliers hang above a garden view complete with a mobile bar and space for games. A bridal suite with multiple makeup stations and a garden-view balcony, along with a separate groom's suite, round out the preparations. The venue includes chiavari and padded chairs, tables, and a day-of facilitator with every package, and the grounds are gated, well-lit, and fully handicap accessible. With her recommended list of florists, caterers, and coordinators built from 29 years in the wedding industry, Amy and her team bring a personal, deeply experienced hand to every celebration held on these remarkable grounds.

Studios at Fischer is a production campus set on nine acres in the Texas Hill Country, conveniently located between Austin and San Antonio. The property brings together two purpose-built facilities: Firefly Sound Studio, a recording studio with two control rooms (Studio A and Studio B) and a live room built into the earth with 12-inch-thick concrete walls, and Dragonfly Media Studio, a 45-by-40-foot soundstage with a 36-by-24-foot seamless cyclorama wall, camera jib, and dolly track for music videos, commercials, films, and photoshoots. Artists working on-site can stay in one of two on-site apartment suites, each with a full kitchen and private bathroom, and take advantage of amenities like a swimming pool between sessions. Studios at Fischer also runs writing retreats, an incubator program for emerging talent, and its own live performance series, Live at SF, bringing musicians together to record and perform on the property.

Original items once used to work the ranch are displayed throughout the property as a nod to its ranching history. Couples can exchange vows outdoors beneath a white wood gazebo overlooking a natural spring pond, or indoors on a cascading staircase inside the Grand Ballroom, which accommodates up to 400 guests for seated receptions. The ballroom opens onto wraparound porches with Hill Country views through French doors and floor-to-ceiling windows.
