The decor features candlelit tables, brick fireplaces, a baby grand piano and a private garden. The restaurant operates inside a historic, land-marked carriage house built in 1767. Established in 1973, One if by Land, Two if by Sea soon became the go to spot in NYC for engagements, anniversaries and weddings. When il Buco first opened its doors in 1994 as a rustic antique store on NoHo's cobblestoned Bond Street, the restaurant quickly rose to become one of the city's most beloved destinations. Donna Lennard and her then-partner, Italian-born restaurateur Alberto Avalle, were pioneers on Bond Street when they invited their antique customers to join them for their midday "pranzo" before obtaining a wine and beer license and developing an eclectic Mediterranean menu that was equal parts Italian, Spanish, and invention, and dedicated to sourcing the finest prime ingredients both locally and in Avalle's home country of Italy. The culinary philosophy of il Buco is firmly rooted in the Italian tradition of seasonality and the integrity of all of the ingredients used in the restaurant. New York Marble Cemetery is a historic half-acre walled garden tucked into the interior of a city block in Manhattan's East Village, accessible through iron gates at 41½ Second Avenue via a 100-foot private alley. Founded in 1830 as the oldest public non-denominational cemetery in New York City, the grounds are enclosed by 12-foot Tuckahoe marble walls and contain 156 underground burial vaults. The site holds dual designations as a New York City Landmark and a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery accommodates private events of up to 120 guests on a center lawn spanning roughly 30 by 150 feet. The range of events hosted includes weddings, fundraisers, fashion shows, corporate gatherings, film and television productions, poetry readings, and art shows. Catering, food, BBQ, and alcohol are permitted on the grounds. Quiet music is welcome at or below 60 decibels; dancing, loud music, and Halloween-themed events are not permitted. The venue does not supply bathrooms, electricity, or garbage services, and renters are required to carry $2 million in private event insurance.

The Westside Loft is a quintessential New York event space located in the heart of Manhattan's West Village neighborhood. You are greeted with panoramic views of the Hudson River as soon as you step into the space through the private elevator. This 8,000 square foot loft is a showpiece thanks to the abundance of natural light during the day and the breathtaking sunsets at dusk, which provide views of the Statue of Liberty and the Jersey Cliffs. Connect with the energy of New York City in this industrial style loft, which features 30 8-foot windows, satin polished hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, a mezzanine with a floating metal staircase, and much, much more. This expansive space, located just high enough off the street to provide unobstructed views while still being easily accessible by stairs, is ideal for a variety of corporate and social functions, as well as film and photography shoots. A cyclorama, private access, a VIP lounge, a coat room, two built-in bars, and a kitchen are among the amenities available on-site. Pellegrino Artusi (1820-1911) and his self-published cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e L'Arte di Mangiare Bene are honored at L'Artusi, which opened in December 2008. (The Science of Cookery and the Art of Eating Well). L'Artusi combines comfort and innovation in a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine. Our wine list is primarily Italian, and is organized by area with a map showing DOCs and DOCGs, as well as traditional local meals, to assist demystify Italy, the world's most diversified viticultural nation. Our 110-seat restaurant has two levels of comfy banquette seating, an extended classic bar, a cheese bar, and a chef's counter with an open view of the kitchen. L'Artusi can accommodate groups of 10 to 110 people in its intimate wine room, second-floor mezzanine, or entire restaurant, making it ideal for business dinners, social gatherings, celebrations and showers, and a variety of other events. For dinner or brunch, our private Wine Cellar can seat up to 14 people, while the above mezzanine can seat up to 50 people for cocktails and seated events. Private parties can be held in the entire restaurant during the day or evening, with full use of the area for up to 110 persons. The Merchant's House Museum is New York City's only family home to survive intact — inside and out — from the 19th century. Built in 1832 in the late-Federal and Greek Revival style, the Manhattan rowhouse carries triple landmark designation at the federal, state, and city levels, including National Historic Landmark status since 1966. It was the first building designated under New York City's 1965 Landmarks Preservation Law and remains one of only six residential interior landmarks in the city. The Tredwell family occupied the residence from 1835 until 1933, and more than 3,000 of their original belongings remain in place. The museum is also recognized as Manhattan's only documented site of the Underground Railroad open to the public. For private events, the venue accommodates up to 30 guests for intimate wedding ceremonies, garden elopements, and engagement photography sessions. The 19th-century rear garden serves as the primary ceremony setting; the Greek Revival double parlor and 1850s kitchen provide indoor alternatives when weather requires.

Astor Center occupies the second floor of the historic De Vinne Press Building near Astor Place in NoHo. For private events, Astor Center offers The Study: a state-of-the-art tasting room and learning facility built for groups of up to 36. Stadium-style seating, three AV screens with participant voting capability, custom light boxes and built-in sinks at each seat, and a fully equipped demonstration kitchen make The Study well-suited to corporate workshops, product launches, culinary demonstrations, and curated tasting experiences. 632 On Hudson is a haven away from the frantic energy of a typical New York events venue in the west village. Not so much a venue in the traditional sense as a private residence that can be made accessible to others for their own extremely special occasions. Film and picture shoots, weddings, rehearsal dinners, wine and culinary events, anniversaries, product launches, corporate receptions, editor events, holiday parties, and other personal festivities of all kinds are all possible at this location. This private hidden gem - a townhouse with 9,000 square feet of indoor space and a 1,500 square foot decked rooftop garden - is located on a quiet stretch of Hudson Street where the Far West Village and the Meat Packing District cross. It is a fantastic venue to organize a celebration because it specializes in smaller, more intimate events that are tailored to the client's specific demands and create the unique mood desired for each event.

Its name alludes to records played on a classic Hi-Fi system as well as the idea that it provides an escape from the digital world we live in.
