Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club is a full-service private club in Citrus Hills, Florida, with three 18-hole championship golf courses, three dining venues, spa services, and active social programming. The club has been hosting private events and celebrations for more than 25 years. Three dedicated banquet rooms accommodate gatherings from 20 to 275 guests. The Hampton Room is the club's largest event space, with vaulted ceilings and chandelier lighting suited to weddings, galas, and large private dinners. The Garden Room and Windsor Room offer more intimate settings for smaller parties and corporate meetings. Joe was born and raised on his family's farm in Chillicothe, Ohio, where they breed and raise a small number of Thoroughbred racehorses. Chillicothe is located in the state of Ohio. Joe was very involved in the 4-H club when he was younger and enjoyed participating in barrel racing. In 2007, he uprooted his life and moved to Ocala, Florida, in order to take advantage of a job opportunity at a small Thoroughbred breeding farm. In addition to his new responsibilities at the farm, he was simultaneously pursuing his education at the College of Central Florida, where he was a student in the Equine Business Management program. Homestead, Florida, is located about 25 miles south of Miami, and that is where Courtney was born and raised. She got her first horse when she was three years old and hasn't stopped riding one since then. She competed in the Hunter Jumper horse show circuit all through elementary and middle school. She changed her focus and ended up falling in love with the sport of barrel racing right around the time that she started attending high school. When Courtney finished high school in 2008, she packed up both she and her horses and moved to Ocala, Florida, so that she could enroll in the Equine Business Management program at the College of Central Florida. It was there that Courtney first laid eyes on Joe. They were both struck by an instant connection, and ever since then, they have been together. Courtney and Joe continued to break, train, and sell racehorses in the two-year-olds in training sales after they both graduated from college and established their own business, which they named Pick View, after Joe's family farm, which had been in the same family for generations. After only a few brief years of running Pick View, they decided to purchase 45 acres in Ocala, which is now their permanent residence and the location of their business. Joe popped the question in 2014, after which the search for an appropriate location began. After attending a stunning wedding in a barn in South Africa, Courtney and Joe were both convinced that they wanted to get married in a venue that was reminiscent of a barn. They quickly found out, however, that they were having trouble locating the ideal spot for their business. When they reached that point, they both came to the conclusion that they wanted to launch Protea Weddings & Events, a premier and one-of-a-kind barn venue. The name "old Cashel Stud Farm" has been given to the property that spans 45 acres. It was one of the very first Thoroughbred race horse farms in Ocala when it was first purchased in 1960 and consisted of a total of three hundred acres. Many champion racehorses were born and raised on this gorgeous property, which is surrounded by granddaddy oak trees that are more than 200 years old. This land is known for its natural beauty. Courtney and Joe were confident that the property, which has a rich heritage, would serve as an excellent setting for the launch of their new business venture. Not only does the historic barn itself have a wealth of tales to tell, but so does the land on which it was built. Deer Island Country Club is a semi-private golf facility set on a scenic landscape in Tavares, Florida, where citrus groves, horse farms, and abundant wildlife frame an 18-hole course. The club welcomes both members and the public for golf, dining, and private gatherings. The Old Florida-style Clubhouse serves as the primary event space, accommodating up to 50 guests in a warm, residential atmosphere with vaulted ceilings, a full bar with light food service, and lake-side pool access. Camp Ithiel is a Christian camp and retreat center situated on twenty acres in Gotha, Florida, between Ocoee and Windermere near Orlando. Established in 1948 as an outdoor ministry of the Atlantic Southeast District Church of the Brethren, the property has served youth campers and rental groups alike for more than seven decades. The facility includes several distinct gathering spaces available for retreats, meetings, banquets, and weddings. The Kramer Dining Center seats up to 180 guests and converts from a full dining hall to an open assembly area. The historic Chapel accommodates 100 guests and features a piano, organ, and stage, making it a natural fit for ceremonies and intimate gatherings. Heritage Hall offers a rustic setting centered on a fire circle for fellowship events. Rental groups have access to the camp's full food service, lodging, and recreation facilities, including a pool with surrounding picnic areas.

The suite features a sizable living area with an abundance of seating and three separate vanity stations for each guest. Relax and unwind in the tastefully appointed bedroom and bathroom while enjoying mimosas and brunch in the kitchenette. The bedroom and bathroom are also tastefully appointed. In addition to all of that, the suite comes complete with its very own PRIVATE POOL. Imagine spending a few hours basking in the sun with your bridesmaids before your big day and how relaxing that would be! Grooms, don't worry; we've got you covered... Relax with your groomsmen in the game room, which features a billiard table, two televisions measuring 58 inches each, a sitting and bar area, and an outdoor putting green. Prepare for the day in the spacious dressing room that is attached and features a private bathroom. Our breathtaking outdoor ceremony location is tucked away beneath an oak tree that is well over a hundred years old. This tree provides a canopy of shade for your guests and a picture-perfect setting for your photographs. As you make your grand entrance through the vintage double doors onto the paved ceremony site, which features a platform so that all of your guests will have a wonderful view of you tying the knot, the ceremony site will be ready for you to begin. There is room for up to 150 guests in the area designated for the ceremony, and white garden chairs are provided. A nearby pergola is available for use for serving drinks prior to the ceremony as well as for hosting live music during the event. Guests have the option of partaking in outdoor activities such as drinking a beverage or playing a game while the bride and groom are off taking photographs at one of the many picturesque locations located on the premises. The cocktail area is covered and features a total of six high-top tables in addition to expansive paved areas that are surrounded by trees.
