Temescal Beach House is a historic lakeside event venue in Oakland's Temescal Regional Recreation Area, situated along the shores of Lake Temescal near the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 24. The structure was built by the Works Progress Administration and opened to the public in 1940, originally serving as changing facilities for park visitors and the original headquarters of the East Bay Regional Park District. Today the venue is managed by the East Bay Regional Park District and welcomes weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, and private celebrations. The Beach House offers two connected indoor rooms and a large outdoor flagstone patio. The Fireside Room seats up to 56 guests around a gas fireplace, while the adjoining Lakeview Meeting Room seats 24 and features large windows framing views of the calm lake. Together the rooms accommodate up to 80 guests seated or 130 standing. The wraparound flagstone patio — bordered by a vertical garden with panoramic lake views — serves as a popular ceremony and reception extension. Included amenities span a prep kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, and microwave; heating and air conditioning; Wi-Fi; a 65-inch television with soundbar; a dressing room; tables and 90 white resin chairs; and a dedicated 15-space parking lot. Events with hired catering must use the District's approved caterer list; a bring-your-own food option is available for gatherings ending by 7 p.m.

Our facilities provide a lovely and useful environment for a weekend wedding or anniversary party, as well as an off-site lunch and conference for your company. Our Los Gatos clubhouse is located at 123 Los Gatos Boulevard. A modest parking lot is accessible, and the building is surrounded by ample of street parking. The building is surrounded by beautiful grounds that are maintained by our volunteers. Tables and chairs are included in the rental price. Weddings and anniversary parties, corporate off-site meetings, and company conferences can all be held at the History Club of Los Gatos. Our quiet and beautifully maintained grounds, located in lovely downtown Los Gatos, provide a sanctuary of calm in our indoor and outdoor settings. Our interior's clean lines provide you with a blank canvas on which to create your own unique event. Our garden area is also ideal for weddings, parties, and family gatherings. Inside, we can easily handle gatherings for up to 150 people, with additional outside flexibility. Discovery Bay Golf and Country Club is a private country club situated on 225 acres in Discovery Bay, California, at the eastern edge of the Contra Costa Valley and bordered by the San Joaquin Delta waterways.
