We are a red-brick house built in the 1940s with nearly a half-acre of lush gardens and fountains. With numerous colors of seasonal flowers, green plants, huge grass areas, and tall, mature trees, we provide a photographer's paradise. We can accommodate up to 275 guests in an outside garden event. Your guests will witness you exchange vows in an elevated, white gazebo at sunset, then sit beneath the stars and enjoy an elegant dinner before dancing the night away on our lighted, covered dance floor. Your cake will be served beneath an illuminated, covered patio with an 8-foot adorned arch, which will make for fantastic photo opportunities. A Peoria family built the property and house in the early 1940s and lived there for many years. From the hardwood floors to the concrete walls, much of the house is still original. A Peoria city council member bought the property in the early 1990s and turned it into Peoria's first Bed and Breakfast. They also held weddings in the gorgeous garden on the side. The property changed hands again in 2006, and it was then transformed into the An Old Wedding and Event Center that you see today. The property has been refurbished to the point where there is no longer a single bed in the house, and the grounds have been expanded to accommodate considerably larger weddings and celebrations. Aldea Weddings at Tlaquepaque, our first venue, opened its doors in 2005, followed by Aldea Weddings at The Landmark, which opened its doors in 2015. Tercero opened in 2018, and Aldea Weddings in the Woods, our newest venue, will open in 2020. Since then, we have had the honor of hosting events every year. In addition to the use of our beautiful private village, which can accommodate up to 250 guests, each of our packages includes six hours of guest use. As we have continued to provide the Valley with the same outstanding services for the past 13 years, we are pleased to introduce our new, private desert oasis. Facility rentals are available on campus in the Great Hall (which can accommodate 180 people), the Cottage, our beautiful Courtyard (or Clos), the Norton Board Room, Conference Room, and six sound-proof practice rooms (all of which can accommodate 300 people). The Great Hall is an excellent venue for weddings, dinners, and other social gatherings with a capacity of up to 180 participants. According to the occasion, the Hall is equipped with a Conference Room that can be used for small business or private discussions. The Irish Cottage, built in the mid-19th century, provides a charming setting for meetings, cocktail parties, and training sessions. The Clos, which has a maximum capacity of 300 people, is an excellent venue for outdoor weddings, concerts, and a variety of other occasions. The Library's basement contains a sound-proof meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 people, as well as several sound-proof practice rooms that can be used for interviews, music lessons, and a variety of other activities and events.
