The Alpine Club is a private mountainside lounge situated in the heart of The Village at Northstar in Truckee, California, where it serves as one of two private ski lodges at Northstar California Resort. Part of the Tahoe Mountain Club, it offers an elegant yet rustic retreat from the slopes, featuring wood panel and stone accents, a roaring fireplace, lounge furniture, and a full bar overlooking the Village, the ice rink, and the surrounding pine trees. Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park occupies the west shore of Lake Tahoe, 10 miles south of Tahoe City along Highway 89, and encompasses nearly two miles of lake frontage within nearly 2,000 acres of old-growth forest. At the heart of the park stands the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion — known as Pine Lodge — a 12,000-square-foot Queen Anne-style estate built in 1903 as a summer retreat for San Francisco businessman I.W. Hellman, designed by architect Walter Danforth Bliss. California acquired the property in 1965, and the mansion now serves as a museum and the backdrop for private events. Two outdoor event sites are available for weddings, reunions, corporate dinners, farm-to-table gatherings, music events, and festivals. The grounds in front of the mansion can host receptions, performances, and celebrations for up to 100 seated guests, while the lakefront site offers a setting overlooking Lake Tahoe for ceremonies and intimate performances of equal capacity. Events are available June through mid-September, with a dedicated Special Events Coordinator to guide the booking process.

Aspen Grove is an outdoor event venue managed by the Incline Village General Improvement District, set among aspen trees with a creek running through the grounds. The venue sits directly across from the community's private Lake Tahoe beaches in Incline Village, Nevada, and within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. Open June through September, Aspen Grove accommodates up to 120 guests for weddings and private celebrations. The rental includes 20 permanent picnic tables, 120 white folding ceremony chairs, standard linens and serviceware, disposable drinkware, three propane heaters, a propane fire pit, and a 900-square-foot clubhouse with restrooms and a deck. Ten reserved parking spaces are provided adjacent to the venue, with overflow parking available nearby.

Originally built in 1960 to house the Winter Olympic delegation during the Squaw Valley Games, the inn has since grown into a 56-room mountain lodge that pairs the character of its historic bones with the comfort and amenities of a full-service resort.
