The Bronxville Women's Club, Inc. occupies the Anna Lawrence Bisland House, a 1928 landmark in Bronxville, New York. Founded in 1925 and listed on both the Westchester County Inventory of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places, the clubhouse has served as a community gathering place for nearly a century. The club's Ballroom — described as the only midsize hall in lower Westchester — accommodates up to 165 guests and features a stage, making it well suited for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, concerts, and private celebrations. The parish was founded in 1889 to serve a diverse range of immigrant groups that have changed over time. The current church building was constructed in 1907 to the designs of Thomas H. Poole & Company and dedicated the following year. The interior was renowned for its magnificent fan vaulting and celebrated German stained glass, among other features (from the still operating studio of Mayer of Munich, famed stained glass makers for the Holy See and Catholic churches around the world). "This church has no name, but its finely detailed neo-Gothic façade, which is prominently entered through an arcaded porch, demands attention," according to the AIA Guide to New York City.

History Pelham Country Club began as a modest tennis club and five-hole golf course carved out of a cow meadow in 1908. Today, the club boasts a membership of over 2,000 people. When an influential member called Mont Rogers formed a corporation to purchase the site, he contacted famed golf architect Devereux Emmet to design a championship golf course. The course was completed in the summer of 1921. Pelham's golf course, which was created from virgin woodland and winds its way around and over rolling, low-lying hills, offers a variety of scenic panoramas of exceptional beauty. It is difficult to think that Manhattan is only 15 miles away, given the natural beauty of its surroundings, which is comparable only to an old English park. To serve as Pelham's first golf professional, Rogers brought in "Long" Jim Barnes, who was then ranked among the world's top three golfers, to work alongside the course's construction crew. One week after opening the new course, Jim Barnes went down to Columbia Country Club in Washington, D.C., and handily won the 1921 U.S. Open Championship. Barnes also won the inaugural PGA Championship, which was held at neighboring Siwanoy C.C., and was awarded the U.S. Open Trophy in 1921 by President Warren G. Harding, who also served as Barnes' caddie. Pelham Country Club became the epicenter of the golfing universe almost immediately. President Harding was appointed an honorary member of the Club, and Jim Barnes, the new "Pride of Pelham," was welcomed home with a spectacular gala hosted at the Club. Finally, in 1923, it was decided to stage the PGA Championship at Pelham Country Club, and what a fantastic championship it turned out to be. In attendance were all of the top golf pros of the day, and the fiercely-fought championship game, which pitted Gene Sarazen against Walter Hagen, has stood the test of time. It is still considered to be one of the most dramatic match play finals in the history of the Championship, with Gene Sarazen taking home the victory after an incredible 38-hole battle.

The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, located in the Bronx's Pelham Bay Park and the only remaining big country estate in the city, covers the social history of the individuals who lived and worked on the estate during the nineteenth century. The mission of the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, which is the last remaining "great country estate" in the Bronx Pelham Bay Park, is to create a vibrant site through the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of the property and grounds for the benefit of the public throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area and beyond. In order to achieve our mission, we must do the following things: 1) protect, preserve, and restore the site's architecture, landscape, and collection; 2) interpret the site's history in compelling and innovative ways; and 3) develop dynamic education programs for students in grades K-12, adults, and families. There are many different types of events that can be held at the Parlour. Our spaces have been created to host and accommodate your needs as much as possible. From a small space for a nice dinner party to a medium-sized space for a medium-sized party, or a larger space for a bridal shower, baby shower, engagement party, bar mitzvah, corporate events, beer pong, and more, we have a space to accommodate your needs. The Coffee Bar, which is also known as the Espresso Bar, is located on the left hand side of our restaurant as you enter. Guests can easily accommodate 50 to 60 people in this pleasant and comfortable space. As you enter our restaurant, the main bar is located on the right-hand side of the building. This space has a dining area as well as a cocktail area that can accommodate up to 90 people. This is primarily for a special mid-size event of great significance. There are private bathrooms, a dining area, and a dancing area in our downstairs lounge, which is located in our basement. With appetizers and cocktails, we can accommodate up to 175 guests. For a sit-down dinner, we can accommodate up to 75 people. On request, we can provide a DJ and/or Karaoke services. Garden Vista Ballroom is a historic banquet facility in Passaic, New Jersey, originally built in 1922 as the home of the Passaic Elks Lodge. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, the building was fully restored and reopened as an event venue in 2009, preserving its original architectural details — including a marble lobby, crystal chandeliers, gold leaf trim, soaring vaulted ceilings, and two grand staircases with original decorative gold railings. The main hall accommodates up to 170 guests and features a configurable dance floor and a baby grand piano. Garden Vista Ballroom hosts weddings, quinceañeras, sweet 16s, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events, nonprofit galas, and private celebrations of all kinds.
