The Richardson Woman's Club is a beautiful rural house in the center of Richardson. It was founded in 1903. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space. With a capacity of 102 people, the Clubhouse is the more intimate of the two venues on the property. Additionally, RWC has three outside settings to choose from, including a romantic Gazebo and patio, a gorgeous brick Arbor/Pergola, and an endearing wishing well. HISTORY OF THE VENUE The Brake & Clutch building was constructed in the 1930s and served as the home of Brake & Clutch Service Co. for many years before closing in the 1980s. It stood empty for years, waiting to be converted into the space it is now! The venue, which launched in 2017, is run by a mother and two children who designed it expressly for special gatherings. The towering ceilings, industrial atmosphere, and high-end finish lend themselves to basic and elegant styles, as well as anything in between. The Wildflower is situated on 50 gorgeous acres between Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork in Emory, Texas. Large open meadow tracks, massive Oak and Cedar trees, and a glistening pond surround our wedding venue. Nature and wildlife can be found in abundance. The scenery is magnificent. The Wildflower hosts are a group of six people who are related both by blood and by love. We are a close-knit family who puts in long hours and enjoys seeing people's dreams come true! Our experience and understanding will ensure that your special day goes off without a hitch and that your guests have a fantastic time. Wildflower is a one-of-a-kind wedding location. This is a modern industrial farmhouse with a total area of 5,500 square feet. The 3,800-square-foot Wildflower Reception Room has 18-foot walls and a 31-foot ceiling peak. It features exposed beams as well as walls of glass windows and doors that look out over a two-acre pond filled with Large Mouth Bass. There's an indoor outdoor bar, as well as a 1,600 square foot wraparound covered deck with views of the meadow and pond. It was originally constructed in 1904 for the C.H. Alexander family and is an unusually well-proportioned design of English influenced architecture with a neo-classical influence that is still standing today. The Dallas Woman's Forum purchased the building in 1930, and it was refurbished and redecorated in 1967. The front columns, which are made of Vermont granite and are two storeys tall, are a focal point. The gateway roof is supported by the columns, and the entablature that surrounds the roof is basic in design. The porch is reached through a set of wide stairs, with built-in benches flanking either side. The massive double doors with patterned beveled glass are a thing of breathtaking beauty. The nostalgic setting of a turn-of-the-century mansion is the perfect backdrop for a variety of events including weddings and receptions, luncheons and teas, bridal and baby showers, holiday parties, formal dinners and cocktail parties, corporate events and organizational meetings.
