Shin Dig Sonoma is a 2.5-acre private estate nestled in rural West Petaluma, in the heart of Sonoma County's wine country. Founded by Stephanie and Shlomo Franco — seasoned hospitality professionals who relocated from San Francisco in 2020 — the property was thoughtfully transformed over four years through extensive landscaping and construction: more than 70 trees were relocated, a new pool was built, and a 1,200-square-foot covered pavilion was added, surrounded by over 80 flourishing olive, citrus, fig, and fruit trees. The Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF occupies the William J. Rutter Center at 1675 Owens Street in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, situated on UCSF's 43-acre life sciences campus just south of downtown. The vast Magnolia Terrace, located just east of the blue-and-white palace, is Maple Lawn's crowning achievement. It is a true jewel in the crown of the garden. Following a winding path through an ornate iron gate, the first thing that meets you is a profusion of brightly colored, blossoming hedges. A elevated, canopied patio lies just ahead, and going out beyond it is a wonderfully beautiful grass, which is flanked on three sides by mature magnolia and camellia trees, which adds to the tranquility of the setting. A wide brick promenade runs right through the center of the field, and it is embellished with two multitiered fountains, each of which is crowned with dramatic statues of Greek goddesses. Friends and family seated on the grass will be awestruck when you walk down the center aisle to meet your partner beneath a neoclassical arch, creating a breathtaking setting for your wedding ceremony.
