    The Guard House is a historic 1906 U.S. Army building set within the National Historic Fort Screven District on the north end of Tybee Island. Originally constructed as the headquarters for soldiers guarding the post, the building was restored in 2007 to reflect its original Army post character and now serves as an event rental venue owned by the City of Tybee Island. The venue's buttercream yellow exterior features a sweeping wrap-around veranda that extends three-quarters around the building, offering a relaxed, shaded gathering space adjacent to Jaycee Park.
