Meadowlark Garden consisted of a total of seven acres of old formal gardens, which were set inside a 400-acre conservation area. The ancient property, which was built in 1883, has 2,200 square feet of furnished area for preparations and storage. Our 150-year-old Pecan tree provides a gorgeous backdrop for any event, and the site can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on the configuration of your event. There are a variety of ceremony and reception sites available on the property. Ingram family has owned this historically historic property since it was purchased in 1939, when they purchased the original farmhouse built in 1891, which is now a museum. When Frank Ingram and his wife, Rhoda Hopson Ingram, bought the ancient farmhouse, they immediately started renovating it and planting flowers in it. Rhoda Hopson had a genuine passion for gardening, and she imagined walkways and allees that would meander through pleasant garden rooms, which she saw come to fruition throughout her life. A number of years later, her grandson Jay Averett, together with the property's caretakers, AP and Alea Moore, revived the gorgeous property as Meadowlark 1939, bringing it back to life.

The majority of our outdoor wedding ceremonies take place in front of our magnificent gazebo or under these majestic Oaks. The roughly 1870 mansion is listed on the Georgia and National Registers of Historic Places and is on 2.89 acres near the crossroads of Chamblee-Dunwoody and Vermack Roads. The home and barn, which have been completely renovated with modern comfort and ADA accessibility in mind, are excellent for a wide range of special occasions. The main house seats 50-60 people and features many rooms that can be quickly converted into meeting rooms, including one large meeting room and several smaller breakout meeting sections.
