Tucked on the West Marietta bend in the Howell Station Neighborhood, The Dogwood at Westside Paper is a quick ride to Georgia Tech, Blandtown, The Works, the West Midtown corridor, Midtown Atlanta, and the Downtown Atlanta attractions. The terraced front entrance leads into the curated pre-function and ballroom. While you're enjoying beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails, The Optimist will transport you to your favorite seaside haunts with dishes such as hickory-roasted fish and raw oysters, as well as beach-food favorites like as hush puppies and lobster rolls. Our light-filled, semi-private dining space is ideal for hosting business events such as receptions, showers, and celebrations, as well as birthday parties and other social gatherings. We are able to close The Optimist to the general public for you if you are hosting a wedding or other fully private event. Our Oyster Bar Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 16 guests, who will be seated at two parallel tables in the room. The area is filled with natural light and is decorated in a seaside style. Depending on your privacy requirements, you may choose to leave the room's floor to ceiling curtains open or close them. This space is solely available for seated events. It is possible to order hors d'oeuvres, which will be given to seated guests on trays that will be placed on the table.

After more than two decades in business, Bacchanalia has gained a well-deserved reputation as Atlanta's most recognized restaurant. Bacchanalia is a modern American restaurant that serves light and innovative foods created by Chefs/Owners Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison, as well as a culinary staff directed by Jonathan Kallini. Organic products, many of which come from Anne and Clifford's farm, Summerland, are used only in Bacchanalia's seasonal menu, which ensures that every meal is a fresh and memorable one. And here we are again, back to the beginnings at Marcel, a first-rate steakhouse and bar by Ford Fry. Named after Marcel Cerdan, the iconic French fighter-romantic who endured ring rumbles, war, marriage, a famous affair with Edith Piaf (and could only be stopped from seeing his love when his plane crashed into a mountain), Marcel is a return to the days when people appreciated every moment, when dull care was forgotten, when love lingered over the best meals—including, pound-for-pound, the best steaks money can buy.

A wedding ceremony, reception, bar/bat mitzvah, or rehearsal dinner at the Trolley Barn is the perfect setting for your next event. The magnificent brick patio, which is surrounded by lush vegetation, will leave your visitors speechless. The inside of The Trolley Barn boasts 30 foot ceilings and timbers that date back to 1889. The barn's wood floor is ideal for dancing, and it can be decorated in any way you like. In order to provide a change of pace The Trolley Barn, located only two miles east of Atlanta's central business center, is the ideal location for your corporate event or meeting. Large enough to separate into multiple regions for presentations, team-building exercises, break-out sessions, or anything else your firm is attempting to accomplish in this space. Located off the main hall is a vast bricked terrace, which serves as an architectural highlight of the structure. The patio is surrounded by plants and features an outside bar, which makes it a great setting for cocktail hour in the evening. Several comments have been made about the Trolley Barn's non-profit charitable mission, which is being carried out by its all-volunteer Board of Directors, including the following ones: Keeping the Trolley Barn in good condition for future generations The service to the Inman Park community The service to other non-profit organizations and educational institutions The facility is currently open to the public as a public archive.
