The Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall occupies a 2007-renovated historic building at 31 South Ellsworth Street in Naperville, Illinois — a former church that North Central College transformed into an intimate performing arts venue. The theatre's thrust stage configuration seats 229 guests across the main floor and balcony, creating an up-close atmosphere well suited to musical productions, plays, speaker events, panel discussions, and private ceremonies. The space is air-conditioned and fully accessible, and comes equipped with a data projector and video screen, a green room, dressing rooms, and a lobby that can serve as a reception area before or after events. The building is named in honor of Judy G. Meiley Swallow Stevenson, an entrepreneur, North Central College life trustee, and generous benefactor to the college. The Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall hosts North Central College's theatre department productions as well as community artists and groups, and is available for rental through North Central College Conference Services.

The grounds surrounding the tower are open all year during regular Park District hours, and you are welcome to come out and listen to the carillon at any of the scheduled performances. Throughout the year, a Carillon Ambassador will assist the Carillon's operations and activities by communicating with visitors and giving presentations to groups visiting the Carillon. Carillon Ambassadors will receive special training for this chance. During the open season, tourists can take a guided trip up the 253 steps to the top of the tower and experience the breathtaking view, which includes the Chicago Skyline on a clear day. Seven Bridges Golf Club is a public golf course turned private event destination in Woodridge, Illinois, situated about 30 minutes from downtown Chicago and 25 miles from O'Hare International Airport. Open since 1991, the club has built a long track record hosting weddings and private celebrations, and hosts one reception per evening to ensure each event receives undivided attention from staff. The venue's interconnected event spaces — The Gallery, The Grill, and The Rotunda — can accommodate up to 270 guests across a combination of intimate gatherings and full receptions. The Gallery features cathedral beams, exposed brick walls, large picture-frame windows, and draped café lights; The Grill pairs cathedral ceilings with a permanent 22-foot wooden and copper bar, plank flooring, and views of the golf course; and The Rotunda offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the landscaped gardens with a five-foot metal crystal chandelier as a centerpiece. An outdoor ceremony site, covered veranda, and early-arrival photography access are also available. Abbey Farms is a one-of-a-kind agritourism farm in Aurora, Illinois, but we prefer to think of ourselves as a fun destination for the whole family! For nearly 75 years, Abbey Farms has been creating memories with our fall festival, which includes a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and other outdoor attractions; our holiday season, which includes dozens of acres of U-Cut trees and our Christmas store; our Summer Ramble season, which includes a specialty cafe menu and live music; and, soon, our apple orchard and new winter season activities! It all began in the 1930s, when the monks of Marmion Abbey moved here and began planting trees, and it was first opened to the public in 1949. Abbey Farms is a thriving, nonprofit farm where 100% of the profits go to the monks and their goal. Summer Ramble's quiet, collected demeanor, as well as the fact that we are closed in the Spring, may create the impression that they are slower seasons on the farm. That is not the case! Farming is a year-round, full-time job! What you don't see is often the most important factor in the success of what you do see. Here's a look at what goes on at Abbey Farms every year: Winter is the time of year when we establish the foundation for the rest of the year. Whether it's apple orchards, pumpkin patches, or Christmas trees, fields must be cleared and cleaned to remove pests and disease hiding places. As the snow melts and the weather warms, we'll be able to see what we're up against and ramp up our efforts. This is an excellent time to plant new apple and Christmas trees in the fields. At the same time, we're trimming the existing apple trees to focus their energy on producing bigger, healthier fruit. We can compost and mound the pumpkin patch later in the Spring, after the last threat of frost has passed, and sow seeds straight into the earth. Isn't it true that we're always fooling around with the trees in the orchard and tree fields? Yes, we are! To ensure healthy growth and a beautiful shape, both apple and Christmas trees require year-round pruning and shaping. Summer is also when we need to be particularly cautious about insect control and water intake for all of our crops. Abbey Farms is, of course, busiest in the fall! We begin with the apple harvest — while you're collecting apples, we're cleaning up fallen fruit to prevent pests, fertilizing plants, planting new trees, and yes, trimming once again. We need to clear the field and put additional compost into the ground so it's ready for next year once you've had a chance to visit the pumpkin patch and bring home the perfect jack 'o lantern.

The Boathouse, located on the banks of Lake Ellyn in west suburban Glen Ellyn, is the ideal location for your next corporate or social occasion. The lovely lake's shore is ablaze with natural vegetation that complements the present season, and the big deck off the east side of the Boathouse offers breathtaking views of the lake and its inhabitants. This adaptable room can sit up to 120 people comfortably, or up to 150 people without tables. When hiring the Boathouse, you can also hire the adjacent patio and deck (for an extra price). The Lake Ellyn Boathouse is entirely accessible to those with disabilities; contact for more info on specific accommodations. From the beginning of March to the middle of December, the Boathouse is available for rent seven days a week. The Boathouse can be reserved up to a year ahead of time. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit, please contact the Rental Supervisor at (630) 858-2462. Please allow for a response time of up to one business day. All tours are by appointment only and are typically available Monday through Friday during regular office hours. During your contract hours, you and/or your caterer have access to the facilities and kitchen amenities (refrigerator, freezer, warming oven, ice machine, microwave, and bar refrigerator). Our table and chair inventory, in-house audio system, garbage bags and removal, and facilities staff to manage your event are all included in your rental.
