I have dreamed of owning my own event space since I was in college and I vowed to myself that one day I would make that dream a reality. Now, I am doing just that. Growing up in a big family and surrounded by good friends, there was always a reason to gather and celebrate. I loved the planning of events, but most of all I enjoyed how all the different parts came together in a great location. My inspiration in the name comes from my son that has passed on. Weston Gardens features a number of showcase gardens that date back to the 1930s and 1940s. In the beginning, Leon and Peggy Bandy created them as a personal estate for themselves. Before the invention of air conditioning, the whole layout of the gardens was planned with outdoor recreation in mind. Travel back in time to Fort Worth, which was said to be a place where "everyone who was anyone" used to hang out and dance on the rock ship or sunbathe by the stream. Weston Gardens is a contemporary take on the traditional English garden, and it's perfect for a couple. The gardens' convenient location in the middle of Fort Worth, near the intersection of 820 and Anglin, making it an ideal location for weddings and other events. You will feel as though you have traveled back in time when you visit Weston Gardens, a private estate that was constructed in the 1920s and 1930s. Before there was ever an option for air conditioning, the entire venue was designed specifically for holding outdoor events. The historical significance of Weston Gardens is one of the characteristics that set it apart from other gardens.

Husband and wife team Jen and Marty Reyes set off on the quest to bring a tropical escape to Dallas in 2015. When the brick and mortar dream seemed too far out of reach, Marty came up with a plan to get Swizzle's name out there by doing Tiki pop-ups. The first was in May of 2016. They were delighted to meet other tikiphiles and guests who shared their passion for tropical cocktails and immersive experiences. As the years went on, the search for a “home” grew and so did the events. The duo and their incredible team of talented bartenders soon started producing Dallas Tiki Week with the Dallas USBG and found an even wider tiki audience across the great state of Texas. ​ In 2019 their dream finally came true and they found a place they could call home. Swizzle opened on Lower Greenville in November of 2020. ​ We are a Beachcomber bar focusing on telling the story of the history of Tiki Art, the craft of tropical cocktails, where these ideas came from and where they are headed in our modern culture. Our walls are decorated with artists old and new to showcase these transitions and our menu too starts with, “classics” and moves to original cocktails to tell that story similar to the way Donn the Beachcomber once did. From the food to the drinks, this mom and pop business, and its talented team of Swizzle-nauts, uses hand crafted ingredients and made from scratch recipes (some which have been passed down through our family) creating unique and fresh flavors for your palate. Two Bit Circus opened their first permanent location, also known as the world’s first Micro-Amusement Park, in 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Two Bit Circus Dallas has just opened in Dallas at the Shops in Park Lane. In the 35,000 square foot building, people of all ages will be brought together, elbow-to-elbow, to play amid an ever-changing landscape of immersive entertainment; including multi-person virtual reality, narrative-based escape/story rooms, indie arcades, molecular mixology and - of course - liberal use of lasers and robots.

Earlier this spring, Old Bison Ranch completed an expansion that included a big Celebration Hall with a capacity of six thousand square feet that was heated and cooled. A pergola and a wraparound deck have been constructed to the backyard to increase the size of the outdoor entertaining space. There's more to it than that. We've constructed a beautiful bridal cottage with a view of the ceremony area.. A unique event location located in Forreston, Texas and tucked among six hundred acres of woodland splendor, Old Bison Ranch is a one-of-a-kind venue. It feels like you've been transported to an English garden or a fairy-tale setting with stone walls, gravel pathways, and rich plant life. Located on the outskirts of Waxahachie, you will enjoy the serenity of a rural setting while also having the convenience of neighboring shopping and hotel options at your fingertips. Our wedding site is small enough to host a small gathering of your closest friends and family, but large enough to accommodate up to 150 people in comfortable comfort. The Secret Garden wedding location, which is situated on half an acre of land and is linked to a beautifully maintained nursery, is guaranteed to wow. The pebble walks lead to stone walls, archways, and even a little bridge over a water feature, all of which are surrounded by lush flora throughout the year. The Garden comes to life at night with the glimmer of lights hanging from all of the giant trees and the many chandeliers throughout the space. You and your friends can have a good time on our outdoor dance floor while enjoying the night sky above. There is a separate location for both the Bride and the Groom to prepare for their big day in the main house, which is fully equipped. Everyone can do their makeup in the Bridal Suite, which offers an en suite bathroom and space for everyone to do so, while the Grooms Cave has a pool table for fun. There is also a full kitchen for all of your food preparation needs, as well as two additional restrooms. With a full kitchen, spacious double living room, glitzy bridal suite, grooms cave with a pool table, and three bathrooms, we can accommodate your entire wedding party. Our climate-controlled pavilion, water features, and two fireplaces may be found outside in our gorgeous garden.
