The Club at Longview is a private country club and event venue set on more than 1,000 acres in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The property traces its origins to the 1800s as the Longview Black Jack Farm, and the Club officially opened in October 2003 after the development of a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course on land that Nicklaus himself described as seeming always meant to be home to a great golf course. Old-world European architecture — shaped by founder Mel Graham's extensive travels throughout Europe — defines the 28,000-square-foot Clubhouse, giving the property a character that withstands the test of time and improves with age. Within the Greenway, eight distinct venues and outdoor spaces are available for weddings, receptions, birthdays, corporate events, and meetings, ranging from the historic Founders Dairy Barn, built in 1947, to the rustic Bob Reid Field Trial Barn with its fire pit and market lights, to the tree-lined Comporium Amphitheater and open-air lawns overlooking Patterson Pond and the Greenway's rolling hills.
