Benbrook Stables is one of North Texas' best horse boarding facilities. We exclusively provide high-quality grains and hays to our animals. Whole oats, barley, corn, and oil make up our grain. It has a protein content of 9%, a fat content of 6%, and a fiber content of 6%. There are no by-products or processed by-products in this product. Our hay comes from irrigated farms in Texas and is of the highest quality. Individual stalls with shavings, various secure meadows for daily turnout, a 110 x 330 lighting arena, a smaller lighted riding arena, two round pens, and over 30 miles of gorgeous trails surround Lake Benbrook are just a few of our amenities. We purchased our Paradise home eight years ago with the intention of retiring there eventually. Our daughter urged us to build a wedding barn when she got engaged. The family spent a year preparing the location for the event, and it was even given the name Wedding Hill. Even in the midst of a torrential downpour, the couple's wedding under the massive oak tree overlooking the pond was breathtaking. We knew we wanted to host a lot more weddings on our property, but we also realized we'd need a building to do it. Every element and decision has been carefully considered, from the oak tree that inspired our emblem to the site of the barn next to the pond. Fall Creek Ranch is a waterfront ranch in the Dallas, Texas area that hosts weddings for couples. Couples will find a quiet country setting with a covered bridge, a creekside ceremony site among the trees, and a barn-style reception hall here. This location is about an hour and a half away from downtown Dallas. A couple's wedding can be attended by up to 250 people at this ranch. The Fall Creek Ranch land is wooded and lush with vegetation. Couples can marry just off the creek's banks at a ceremony spot. Couples can say "I do" under a natural wedding arbor in the open air of this setting, which is surrounded by large trees. From folding white chairs laid up in the short grass, guests watch the love story unfold. The rest of the property can then be used for wedding photos, including magnificent shots among the tall trees and intimate ones on the covered bridge. Couples and guests reassemble in the barn-like reception hall for the reception. Inside this structure, you'll find charmingly rustic settings. A wooden roof is supported by metal beams, and lengthy walls are adorned with windows, allowing natural light into the space. When the sun sets and the natural light fades, the room is illuminated by ceiling light fixtures and strings of fairy lights. Couples and guests dance the night away on polished floors, adding to the romantic mood of the reception hall. One end of the long hall has a stone accent wall. The staff at this venue aids couples with cleanup and setup on their wedding day, alleviating some of the stress so they can relax and enjoy the event as guests. The farm's bridal room can be used for day-of preparations, while onsite parking makes it easy for guests to arrive. This venue may also provide lighting and sound services for a couple's wedding. Thistle Hill is the most spectacular cattle baron era estate that has been preserved, and it is also one of the most prominent residential landmarks in Fort Worth. Thistle Hill is a Georgian Revival home that exemplifies the architectural magnificence of Fort Worth's affluent pioneers. The neighborhood where it is located was formerly known as Quality Hill. In the year 1904, Albert Buckman Wharton, Jr. and his wife Electra Waggoner Wharton, who was the daughter of a wealthy cattleman named W.T. Waggoner, moved into this home that was 11,000 square feet and included 18 rooms. The home was remodeled by Sanguinet and Staats in 1911, after Elizabeth and Winfield Scott bought the estate for $90,000 and commissioned them to do so. The original house had been designed by Sanguinet and Staats. The primary bulk of the house is a gambrel-roofed structure that is two and one-half stories tall and has semi-circular bays on either side. The mansion is accentuated by towering chimneys as well as a massive porch that has limestone columns. The roof is covered in glossy green tiles, and the walls are elaborately framed in cast stone. The outside is red brick. The foyer welcomes guests with a grand staircase and abundant woodwork as two of its prominent features. The enclosed gardens of 1.5 acres, which include a magnificent carriage house, have been preserved. In 1975, the home was included in the National Register of Historic Places. In 1977, it was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, and in 1978, it became the first Historic and Cultural Landmark in Fort Worth.

The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

Its event spaces were originally constructed as mule barns in the early 1900s, when the district processed over 50 million hogs and 40 million sheep at the peak of the Texas cattle trade; the buildings have since been restored to blend that Western heritage with modern comforts, retaining original brick flooring and abundant natural light. Three venues make up the property: Stampede Ballroom, Stockman's Club, and Lone Star Hall, sized for gatherings from intimate ceremonies to receptions of hundreds of guests. Rental includes tables and chairs, linens and napkins, complimentary centerpieces, an in-room sound system, and an onsite event manager, making each space a turnkey setting for weddings, corporate meetings, and fundraisers alike.
