A wedding at the Lighthouse Inn will provide you with beautiful vistas, historic charm, and the salty air of Nantucket Sound, among other things. We can assist you with the planning of a rehearsal dinner prior to your wedding day. Check with our wedding organizer to see if any dates and hours are available. On-site meal following the rehearsal may be available, subject to space and time availability. A National Historic Landmark, Marble House was built for Mr. and Mrs. William K. Vanderbilt. It was the most lavish house in America when it opened in 1892. Marble House was the scene of both elaborate balls and rallies to raise funds for the women’s suffrage movement. The view from the canopied terrace overlooks the colorful Chinese Tea House and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Marble House is an exclusive rental experience. Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars. Mid-Century modern furniture is displayed throughout the galleries alongside the cars, extending the museum's design focus beyond the automobiles themselves. For private events, the museum's Wheel Room offers an 1,800-square-foot multipurpose space that accommodates up to 100 guests in conference or social-style configurations, equipped with audio/visual capabilities and set against the backdrop of the museum's automotive and Mid-Century furniture collections. The museum is open daily and offers free parking for more than 300 vehicles.

Regatta Place, located on historic Goat Island and in the center of Goat Island Marina, is a stunning venue for your next wedding reception or waterfront event on the water. With Newport's largest private ballroom and a heart-shaped staircase, Rosecliff, built in 1902, was the setting for many of the most fabulous social events of the Gilded Age, including a fairytale dinner and party featuring magician Harry Houdini. Our outdoor terrace, spacious grounds, and opulent interior rooms offer picture-perfect settings for exquisite wedding ceremonies and celebrations, all against a background of glistening Atlantic vistas. The Chanler specializes in weddings with up to 120 people, and it offers reception space throughout the estate and at various wedding sites in Newport, Rhode Island. We can host your party as a tented event on our Cliff or Meadow Lawns for weddings with more than 120 guests. Weekend events necessitate a buyout of the 20-room mansion for two nights. Corporate Corporate retreats and meetings transform into extraordinary events, whether they take place in the small board room or on the large Terrace overlooking Easton's Bay. The Chanler, located in a lavish estate by the water, offers an elegant setting for business lunches, outdoor cocktail receptions, and board meetings. The Chanler, which specializes in overnight retreats, is all yours with a mansion buyout. Our 20 guest rooms and villas, which have distinctive decor and unique linens and furnishings, are infused with a range of varied styles that are typical of Newport's long history.

Over 5,000 square feet of magnificent interior space, including a big dining room with seats for up to 220 guests, a lounge with 29-foot mahogany bar, a more intimate upstairs dining room, and a huge outdoor terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. The Sea View has its own catering service as well as a complete liquor license. The Sea View, which is located directly across the street from the beach, is full of special touches that will please any couple, including a separate room for the wedding party and a big outdoor terrace for ceremonies under the stars and cocktail hours. With space for anything from cocktail parties and rehearsal dinners to family reunions and birthday celebrations, The Sea View is the ideal location for any special occasion. Whether it's for meetings and conferences, banquets, or trade exhibits, the Sea View is the ideal location for your next business event.

For each family, occasion, wedding, or event, By the Sea Guests has it all. The inn has a bed and breakfast with simple guest rooms with one or two beds, apartment-styled one or two bedroom suites, and vacation houses, all of which are ideal for family reunions, special celebrations, or wedding parties. Our three inns contain a total of 46 rooms, all of which are either next door to one other or one block apart. Two of the inns are directly on the beach. One of the inns allows pets. We're off Chase Avenue in Dennis Port, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod's Mid-Cape. We can offer room blocks, though we prefer that customers book directly with us on a first-come, first-served basis. The major inn, By the Sea Guests, is where most weddings and festivities take place. It is oceanfront, with the strip's largest white sanded beach, and an enclosed veranda that overlooks and connects to the beach, as well as an outdoor grass space where a tent can be set up.

The Valiant is a 97-foot yacht operated by Charles River Boat Company, a family-run business that has cruised Boston Harbor and the Charles River since 1990. Departing from Rowes Wharf, with alternate dockage available on request, the Valiant carries guests along the water for weddings, cocktail receptions, and celebratory gatherings such as birthdays and reunions. Aboard, a traditional salon area with a full bar connects to a wicker-furnished fantail, while an extended bow offers a spot for photography and harbor views. An upper canopy deck provides additional open-air space for a celebration. The yacht seats 10 to 60 guests for a seated meal and holds up to 120 for a cocktail-style reception. Each charter includes two full-service bars stocked with beer, wine, spirits, and custom glassware, along with top-shelf and custom wine and champagne selections. Clients can add DJs, live music, games, or tour narration, and the crew works with each group to shape the cruise around their event.

The Lobster Bar is a waterfront seafood restaurant on Bowens Wharf in Newport, Rhode Island, occupying the site once home to the Aquidneck Lobster Company. The space carries forward that history, aiming for the same sense of community that made the original wholesale fish market a neighborhood staple. The dining room is built around harbor views, with floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding doors, and dockside air just beyond the room. Hardwood floors, a statement bar, and a separate raw bar anchor the space, while both indoor and outdoor seating let guests choose between open-air harbor light and airy indoor dining. The Lobster Bar hosts birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and other private gatherings, pairing its waterfront setting with a full menu of seafood, craft cocktails, wine, and beer.

Overlooking Newport Harbor from 30 Bowens Wharf, The Landing Restaurant pairs waterfront views with coastal dining in the heart of historic downtown Newport. The restaurant's menu centers on fresh seafood, raw bar selections, and seasonal specialties, served alongside a full bar and ocean breezes off the harbor. The Landing regularly hosts private dinners, bridal showers, anniversaries, corporate gatherings, wedding rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions, with capacity for a full reception of up to 200 guests. Events can range from an intimate cocktail party with passed hors d'oeuvres to a large-scale celebration, with a private events menu and catering packages available for groups of any size. Live music plays every day the restaurant is open, with DJs taking over Friday and Saturday nights, giving The Landing a lively waterfront atmosphere that carries from dinner service into the evening.

Sea Captain Uriah Howe originally built the Barn that now houses the Borsari Gallery in the early 1800s. The barn's first purpose was to serve as a commercial abattoir for Cape Cod and its environs. The Crowell family held the Sea Captain's home and abattoir for for a century, until it was purchased by Cape Cod local artist David Grose in 1960 and utilized to showcase his work. Bob and Kathy Borsari bought the property in 2008 and undertook a three-year renovation that was both elaborate and historically appropriate. The post and beam construction was lovingly restored to its original New England rustic elegance. The original pumpkin pine flooring was exposed, the century-old "ice box" was used, and the historic 1800s track & pulley system that was employed on the property when it was an operating abattoir was displayed. It was at this point that the barn's original beauty was revealed. While the original goal of the restoration was to create a setting that would allow Bob and Kathy to continue the history of presenting good art, it was clear by the end that they had produced much more than an art gallery. As a result, the Borsari Gallery was born: "Exceptional Image & Memorable Events." A pleasant and sophisticated environment with plenty of atmosphere; an ideal and surely unusual place for small gatherings of up to 100 people.

Waverly Oaks Golf Club is a public championship golf course and event venue in Plymouth, Massachusetts, about an hour from Boston and Providence. Designed by Brian Silva, the course winds through towering oak trees across rolling terrain with coastal winds and broad views of the surrounding New England landscape. The club hosts weddings and private events with a one-event-per-day policy, keeping the full staff focused on each celebration. An in-house culinary team builds customized menus from cocktail hour through reception. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the course, while the Oak Room suits smaller gatherings of up to 80 for rehearsal dinners, showers, holiday parties, and corporate meetings.

Our staff takes great satisfaction in creating innovative dishes using scratch recipes created in-house. We warmly welcome you to our freshly refurbished site on the historic Cape Playhouse grounds. It's a lovely historic location, complete with a rustic old-cape patio for stunning recollections. We can accommodate any number of guests for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and even the post-wedding brunch. Our food is even better than the view from our patio! Our venue's combination of superb food and a lovely setting will have your guests talking about the event for years to come! We have an inside dining area and a small bar in addition to our unique patio, so the options are unlimited!

Mary Cunningham bought the house in 1979 and began providing soup, sandwiches, pastries, and tea to visitors to her antique shop with the help of her sister, Barbara, and her small daughter, Abbey. The Tea Room opened in 1981, and the Crane Brook Restaurant grew into one of the best restaurants in the country. Don McKeag reopened Crane Brook Restaurant in 2004, aiming to build on the restaurant's prior success and create an exciting future for the stunning structure. Antonio Sousa and Maria Marcalo bought the Crane Brook Restaurant in November of 2018, with the intention of restoring it to its former splendor. They began renovations on the outside and inside, and on a daily basis, local folks would stop and ask when Crane Brook will reopen, as well as share their particular memories of Crane Brook. Crane Brook restaurant reopened its doors to the public on June 29th, 2019, and is encouraging everyone in the local and surrounding communities to come in and enjoy Farm-to-Table Cuisine.
