  Main Dining Room The Main Dining Room at Tribeca Grill is the restaurant's center point, and it has a sleek industrial warehouse feel to it. An ancient mahogany bar from the legendary "Maxwell's Plum," exposed brick walls, and artwork by the late Robert De Niro, Sr. adorn the space. Cocktail parties for up to 350 people or a formal dinner for 175 people can be held in the whole Dining Room. Arrangements can be made to reserve the full Tribeca Grill Duplex for groups of up to 500 people. This allows you to have dancing, food, and beverages all at the same time during your event. Loft The Loft is a bright, open room on the second story with beautiful hardwood flooring, 15-foot ceilings, and exposed brick walls. It also has its own entrance and private facilities. It is a dynamic space that can be dressed up for elegance or down for a fun, laid-back vibe. Although the room can hold up to 120 people for a formal dinner, the design is also suitable for smaller gatherings of 30 people or receptions of 175. The Loft can be used for gallery exhibitions, fashion events, corporate presentations, and even in conjunction with the adjacent screening room.   We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner.   David Bouley was born and reared in the Connecticut town of Storrs. David's childhood spent on his grandparents' farm had a profound influence on him. Inspired by their French ancestors, he acquired a passion for preparing nutritious meals from scratch using well selected, freshly prepared components. David began working in restaurants at a young age, and has since lived on Cape Cod, in Sante Fe, and in France and Switzerland, among other places. His experience working with some of Europe's most recognized chefs, such as Roger Vergé, Paul Bocuse, Joel Robuchon, Gaston Lenôtre and Frédy Giradet, followed his studies at the Sorbonne University. After gaining valuable expertise, David went on to work in some of New York's most prestigious restaurants at the time, including Le Cirque, Le Périgord, and La Côte Basque, among others. He also worked as a sous chef in a San Francisco restaurant owned by Roger Vergé for a short period of time. David went on to become the chef of the Montrachet restaurant in TriBeCa when it first opened its doors in 1985. The New York Times published a three-star review of the restaurant shortly after it opened, attracting widespread notice. Private Dining Events and Catering provide us with opportunity to collaborate more intimately with our guests, as well as possibilities to share our passion for celebration in innovative and exciting new ways.
