Celebrate the Occasion That You Deserve It is believed that "Munnysunk," the former estate house of Frank Bailey, was initially constructed somewhere in the 1800s. After purchasing the property, Frank enlisted the help of Craig Severance to renovate it while preserving the rustic charm of the neocolonial structure. Bailey House and its surrounding grounds, which can accommodate up to 75 guests for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, and private events, has been transformed into a stunning venue. Current Rental Guidelines Effective 2021-2022 - All events will have a maximum capacity of 50 people or less, including children and excluding staff, through December 2021. This number will increase to 75 people as of January 2022. - All events are to be outside events only (ceremonies, receptions, etc.). - Indoor use of Bailey House is restricted to restroom access only and will not have access to the rest of the building. - The historic Bailey House will be undergoing major construction during the winter season of 2021-2022. As the building is owned by Nassau County, we cannot guarantee that the building will be functional come spring of 2022.

The historic gardens at Planting Field make the ideal location for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other special occasions. After the gardens have closed to the public, ceremonies for weddings and other celebrations usually start at 5 o'clock or later. To guarantee the exclusivity of your event, only one nighttime event is scheduled for each date. A payment of $15,000 is required to reserve Planting Fields for your private event, and the host is entitled to one year of Sustaining Member perks. Wedding ceremonies call for a $5,000 donation, which entitles the host to one year of Family Member perks. Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. is located in Westchester County, New York, only a short drive north of New York City, and is the region's largest craft brewery, producing more than 28,000 barrels of beer per year. Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, founded in 2006 by Scott Vaccaro, produces a diverse range of beer genres, creating as many as one hundred different brands in a single year. Within a few years of launching, the brewery began to achieve significant recognition for their sour and barrel-aged beers, and in 2007 they received their first of nine GABF gold. Three Saints Park is a 25-acre private park set in Bethany, Connecticut — a small, rural town that has kept its New England character. The property spans wooded and open grounds with a pond, sports fields, and two pavilions, offering a natural backdrop for DIY celebrations of all kinds. The Large Covered Pavilion accommodates up to 300 guests and sits adjacent to a full catering kitchen, making it the centerpiece for weddings, receptions, and large gatherings. The Small Pavilion, a 1920s-era structure and the oldest on the property, overlooks the pond and provides a more intimate setting. Both spaces are available for full-day exclusive buyout — no two events share the grounds on the same day. Three Saints Park is built for couples and hosts who want creative control. The Woodlea Clubhouse was once a Vanderbilt Mansion that was constructed in 1892 and held by Colonel Elliot Fitch Shephard. Colonel Shephard was the founder of the New York Bar Association as well as the proprietor of the journal Mail and Express. 1910 saw the purchase of the mansion by Frank Vanderlip and William Rockefeller. The following year, 1911, saw the establishment of the Sleepy Hollow Country Club by a board of directors that included John Jacob Astor IV, Cornelius Vanderbilt III, Edward Julius Berwind, and a number of other notable individuals. The Sleepy Hollow Country Club has seen several improvements and transformations throughout the course of its history, propelling it to the position of being one of the best-rated golf courses and country clubs not only in New York, but also in the United States.
