The museum is located on the banks of the Hudson River. In the midst of dozens of exceptional historic Herreshoff boats on an exceptional waterfront property overlooking Bristol Harbor, our facilities provide a beautiful and historic setting for your event. The Museum provides several attractive options for your meeting, social event, or wedding, including the Waterfront, Hall of Boats, Aria Gallery, Conference Room, and the second floor of the historic Burnside Building, among other locations. All year long, the Museum offers a variety of unique indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate groups ranging from 25 to 200 people. Industrial heaters are used in the fall and winter to keep your party warm and toasty even in the coldest of temperatures. A special place to infuse your dinner or reception with a unique vibe, the Hall of Boats can be found on the ground floor of the Museum and is fully handicap accessible. It is the heart of the Herreshoff collection and is located on the ground floor of the Museum. Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars. Mid-Century modern furniture is displayed throughout the galleries alongside the cars, extending the museum's design focus beyond the automobiles themselves. Terrydiddle Farm is a small working equestrian farm set on 8 acres of New England farm country in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Owned and managed by Dave and Lissa Trott for over 30 years, the property has hosted weddings and private events for more than a decade. The farm takes its name from a historic hill discovered behind the barn in the early 1800s. The grounds offer three outdoor ceremony locations, a reception tent, and a barn for indoor gatherings, with space for up to 150 guests. A private bridal suite is available for preparation before the ceremony. The farm's resident horses — including Bella, Penny, and mini horses Veronica and Hannah — are a beloved part of the experience and available for guest photos. Events run Friday through Sunday, with one event hosted per day. Outside vendors are welcome with proof of insurance, and the farm provides a curated list of preferred caterers, photographers, and entertainment vendors. Squantum Association is a private dining club and public event space set on ten acres of historic grounds along Narragansett Bay in Riverside, Rhode Island. Chartered in 1872, the club has hosted presidents and dignitaries over the decades and was featured on the BBC Network's Great American Railroad Journeys. The property's two signature buildings anchor its event spaces. The Clubhouse, built in 1899 and 1900, sits high on the rocks of Squantum Point with the feel of a Newport-style mansion; it houses the Culture Room bar, a working fireplace, a glass-enclosed sunroom, and a second-floor deck overlooking the bay. The Bakehouse, established in 1889, is the association's main event space, accommodating up to 150 guests for a seated dinner and up to 225 for a cocktail reception, with WiFi, surround sound, and a projector and screen built in. Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is a historic event venue in the Pawtuxet Village section of Cranston, Rhode Island, tracing its roots to 1872, when Thomas H. Rhodes opened a small pavilion there for clambakes and canoe rentals along the Pawtuxet. The current building, designed by architect John O'Malley in the neoclassical revival style, opened in August 1915 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Following a complete renovation in 2020, the venue's grand ballroom showcases more than 10,000 square feet of original hardwood floors beneath 21-foot ceilings, along with second-floor orchestra lofts and a three-tiered stage that once hosted bandleaders including Benny Goodman, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and Tony Bennett. In the foyer, a mural of Narragansett Bay by artist Hezekiah Dyer hangs above the main bar beneath a restored coffered ceiling, and an 1880 sculpture of Terpsichore, muse of dance, remains on display. Wedding rentals include use of the foyer and ballroom along with a renovated bridal suite, groom's room, and the Canoe Lounge, a VIP space that nods to the property's early canoe-rental days. Potowomut Golf Club has been a fixture of Rhode Island golf since 1927, when a group of golfers built a private course on rolling terrain near Narragansett Bay, in the Potowomut section of Warwick. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Walter Johnson, a disciple of architect Donald Ross, and has been carefully restored over the decades while staying true to its founding character: small, fast greens and a walking tradition that rewards strategy over length. While membership defines daily play at Potowomut, the club opens its course and clubhouse to non-members for weddings, corporate golf outings, and private celebrations. The Valiant is a 97-foot yacht operated by Charles River Boat Company, a family-run business that has cruised Boston Harbor and the Charles River since 1990. Departing from Rowes Wharf, with alternate dockage available on request, the Valiant carries guests along the water for weddings, cocktail receptions, and celebratory gatherings such as birthdays and reunions. Aboard, a traditional salon area with a full bar connects to a wicker-furnished fantail, while an extended bow offers a spot for photography and harbor views. An upper canopy deck provides additional open-air space for a celebration. The yacht seats 10 to 60 guests for a seated meal and holds up to 120 for a cocktail-style reception. Each charter includes two full-service bars stocked with beer, wine, spirits, and custom glassware, along with top-shelf and custom wine and champagne selections.
