A celebration at the Codman Estate Carriage House is a wonderful way to commemorate a wedding, corporate gathering, or other special occasion. The Codman Estate, nestled in an expansive landscape of gardens, lawns, and meadows, provides a unique country setting just twenty miles from downtown Boston while remaining close to the city. The Codman Estate Carriage House has been completely renovated and is now available for private parties and other events. This venue, with its rich wood paneling and rustic ambiance, offers a casually elegant and reasonably priced option for your wedding reception. The Italian Garden is a particular highlight of the landscape. Featuring a marble-columned pergola covered in flowering vines, this surprisingly formal secret garden is an ideal location for wedding ceremonies and receptions. In the garden, guests can relax by a reflecting pool that is surrounded by flowers, classical urns, and statues. A beautiful but less formal setting for photographs can be found in an English country garden, which was originally designed and maintained by Dorothy Codman. Your rental includes the use of the Carriage House, gardens, and grounds, as well as the freedom to create your own event from the ground up. Tables should be decorated with fresh flowers and fine linens for a formal wedding. For a summer barbecue, use checkered tablecloths and a volleyball net to create a festive atmosphere. Mary Cunningham bought the house in 1979 and began providing soup, sandwiches, pastries, and tea to visitors to her antique shop with the help of her sister, Barbara, and her small daughter, Abbey. The Tea Room opened in 1981, and the Crane Brook Restaurant grew into one of the best restaurants in the country. Don McKeag reopened Crane Brook Restaurant in 2004, aiming to build on the restaurant's prior success and create an exciting future for the stunning structure. Antonio Sousa and Maria Marcalo bought the Crane Brook Restaurant in November of 2018, with the intention of restoring it to its former splendor. They began renovations on the outside and inside, and on a daily basis, local folks would stop and ask when Crane Brook will reopen, as well as share their particular memories of Crane Brook. Crane Brook restaurant reopened its doors to the public on June 29th, 2019, and is encouraging everyone in the local and surrounding communities to come in and enjoy Farm-to-Table Cuisine.

Loon Pond Lodge occupies the historic Ted Williams Camp in Lakeville, Massachusetts, on the wooded shores of Loon Pond. Owned by the Town of Lakeville and operated through the Lakeville Park Commission, the lodge carries a storied connection to the legendary baseball player who made this waterfront his personal retreat. Inside, the main dining room features exposed-beam cathedral ceilings strung with warm white lights and looks directly out over the water. A separate cocktail lounge with a custom bar provides a dedicated space for pre-dinner receptions, and a dance floor with ambient lighting anchors the evening program. For ceremonies, a large gazebo positioned at the water's edge offers an open-air setting on the pond. The Attleboro Area Industrial Museum occupies the historic Attleboro Refining Company building on Union Street, a structure constructed in 1899 that the museum considers its most significant artifact. Concord Art — formally the Concord Center for the Visual Arts — occupies the historic John Ball House (circa 1752) at 37 Lexington Road in Concord, Massachusetts. Founded in 1917 by American Impressionist Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts, it is among the oldest continuously operating art organizations in the country, with a permanent collection rooted in early 20th-century work and four rotating galleries that remain free and open to the public. The building's rooms lend themselves naturally to private events. The Roberts Gallery on the second floor spans 30 by 40 feet under a turn-of-the-century skylight, with hardwood floors, built-in speakers, a screen and presentation system, and lift access. The John Alden Club is a private membership organization founded in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1969. Built incrementally on Minuteman Lane over more than two decades, its facility grew from a lower-level meeting room in 1974 to an upstairs function hall in 1979 and an outdoor pavilion completed in 1991 — together spanning more than 8,000 square feet of event space. The indoor Rental Hall accommodates up to 180 guests across 4,000 square feet, with a full-service bar, private bridal suite, dance floor, and commercially equipped kitchen. With 23-foot ceilings and clerestory windows for plenty of natural light, our 5,500-square-foot venue also features a 50-seat island bar topped with imported Italian Carrara marble, A/V capability on our large scale flat screen display and an outdoor patio area, coat check, and private parking. We can accommodate approximately 160 guests for a seated dinner and up to 250 guests for a cocktail-style event in our Main Dining Room. The Carrara Bar & Patio is located on the first floor of the Carrara Hotel. This semi-private space at Novara is ideal for social gatherings and cocktail parties of all kinds. Located along the length of our beautiful carrara marble bar, guests can mingle and take in the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant from an expansive reserved area that runs the length of the bar. With limited seating, the Carrara Bar can accommodate 75 people for a cocktail-style event.
