Alpen Way Chalet Mountain Lodge sits in the Colorado foothills near Evergreen, roughly 30 minutes from downtown Denver and less than a mile from Evergreen Lake and Historic Downtown Evergreen. The property features eight individually styled guest rooms, suites, and a private cabin, set among landscaped grounds with a stream, koi pond, native gardens, and towering trees. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a scenic 20-minute drive away. Outdoor common spaces include a shared pergola with seating, a gas fire pit, and a shared hot tub — all surrounded by forest that draws elk, black bears, and other local wildlife. The lodge accommodates romantic getaways, family retreats, dog-friendly stays, and group gatherings, with select accommodations offering private fire pits, hot tub access, and full kitchenettes.

You will find large planted grounds, panoramic vistas, stunning architectural elements, and a strong link to our western past here. Tours, activities for the local community, and educational programs are all available to the general public. Some of Denver's most important families, including cattle barons, oil tycoons, renowned Denver socialites, and political and commercial figures who were instrumental in the development of Colorado as we know it today, have called the historic mansion home over the course of its long history. The mansion, which was once a significant component of a massive ranching empire in Colorado, will be preserved as part of the proposed 250-acre Highlands Ranch Historic Park. A working ranch, antique barns, a bunkhouse, ranch cottages, corrals, meadows, and the ranch's signature windmill are all located in the immediate vicinity of the mansion. The grounds of the mansion are included in the current park, which spans around 50 acres. The vast trail system in the Highlands Ranch Metro District includes approximately 1.4 miles of paths with a soft surface that offer panoramic vistas.

The Richards-Hart Estate is a historic Victorian mansion set on three acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Built in 1877 and extensively remodeled by Leadville merchant Patrick Hart beginning in 1926, the estate was purchased by the City of Wheat Ridge in 1976 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The mansion hosts weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, parties, and community gatherings. Inside, period colors, wallpapers, and rich wood trims create a turn-of-the-century atmosphere. Separate dressing rooms are available for the wedding party, and a catering kitchen provides storage and serving space. Outdoors, the landscaped grounds include a ceremony arbor and fountain surrounded by manicured gardens. The estate accommodates up to 75 guests for combined indoor and outdoor events from May through September, and up to 50 guests for indoor-only events from October through April. The property is available for private rental seven days a week.
