At its core, ELAWA FARM is an innovative public-private collaboration devoted to the preservation and maintenance of a rare combination of natural environment, created landscapes, as well as architectural and historic structures. It was in 1998 that the City of Lake Forest purchased a 16-acre tract of land that included the original farm complex buildings that were once part of a gentleman's farm dating back to the early twentieth century, known as ELAWA FARM. The Banquet Room accommodates up to 240 guests and features vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course, pond, and water features.
