Storytellers Museum and Hideaway Farm sits on a 107-acre property in Bon Aqua, Tennessee that was once Johnny Cash's private retreat for more than 30 years. The Hideaway Farm's centerpiece is a circa-1837 white log farmhouse, restored alongside the American Garage, which displays historic artifacts including the "One Piece at a Time" Cadillac. A newly renovated barn venue with two stages, a dance floor, and an air-conditioned green room anchors the property's event space, set among wooded trails, open fields, and a bonfire area with a firepit built by Cash himself. Down the road, the Storytellers building traces its own history to an 1800s general store that became Red Wortham's recording studio in the 1960s, and later the site of Johnny and June Carter Cash's "Saturday Night in Hickman County" concert series. Restored in 2016, it now operates as an enclosed, weather-proof event space with an adjoining covered courtyard, making it a fitting setting for intimate weddings, songwriter nights, and private gatherings that carry the property's musical history forward. Both locations include on-site audio setup run by venue staff, rental furnishings such as tables, chairs, and benches, and the option to add event tents for outdoor weather contingency. Green Door Gourmet is a 350-acre working organic farm and agritourism destination along the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee, just minutes from downtown. The farm grows a wide variety of fruits, herbs, and vegetables and runs an on-farm market featuring locally sourced meats, eggs, dairy, and baked goods. For corporate and community gatherings, the farm offers several architectural venues that blend the setting's organic-farm character with a country-chic aesthetic. The Grand Barn is a 6,000-square-foot, climate-controlled space built with Tennessee native rough-sawn white oak, featuring 27-foot ceilings at its peak, reclaimed chestnut bars, a mezzanine level, and a separate catering wing with dedicated load-in access. The Cumberland Cottage offers a smaller-scale setting for meetings, workshops, and private luncheons, with a demonstration kitchen, buffet area, and a 1,500-square-foot cedar wraparound porch. The Loveless Events Barn was built with versatility in mind, including a private kitchen where our culinary team could prepare meals for events hosted on-site. As demand grew, Loveless Events Catering was introduced to bring a wide variety of menu items to homes, offices, and other venues in the area. Seeing a need for a smaller private event space, the original Loveless Motel Dining Room was converted to the Harpeth Room. Guests have been hosting baby showers, business meetings, and even small weddings in this venue ever since. Now, Loveless Events encompasses on-site events and catering in the Barn and the Harpeth Room providing a sophisticated southern experience.
