The heartbeat of the small Catskill town of Woodstock, Bearsville, and all that transpired in this small hamlet on the edge of Woodstock, created the music revolution of the sixties. The story of Bearsville is the story of Albert Grossman, a music entrepreneur and manager of musicians. High in the Catskill Mountains surrounded by forests and streams, Albert established a creative and nurturing community in which his artists could live and work. He built cabins, a record label, and created the Bearsville Studios. Bob Dylan moved to Woodstock to take advantage of his vision, and artists like Janis Joplin, Allen Ginsberg, Johnny Cash, George and Pattie Harrison followed his lead. Albert then planned an acoustically perfect Bearsville Theatre, where he could showcase his artists. Your ceremony takes place on the lawn near our 200 year old maple tree, cocktail hour by our on-site restaurant Butterfield, and reception celebrations will take place on our 3,750 sq ft bluestone patio, which can accommodate up to 150 for ceremony, cocktail, dinner and dancing. Butterfield at Hasbrouck House is the exclusive food and beverage partner for all of our events. We only host one wedding per weekend, and a full hotel buyout with a two night minimum stay is required of all weddings. We seek to provide you with a stunning serene setting and dedicated attentive service to make your wedding day unforgettable. Hasbrouck House offers a unique and sophisticated setting for your special day. The elegant mansion and lush surrounding grounds lend themselves to exclusive upscale weddings and private events.
