When il Buco first opened its doors in 1994 as a rustic antique store on NoHo's cobblestoned Bond Street, the restaurant quickly rose to become one of the city's most beloved destinations. Donna Lennard and her then-partner, Italian-born restaurateur Alberto Avalle, were pioneers on Bond Street when they invited their antique customers to join them for their midday "pranzo" before obtaining a wine and beer license and developing an eclectic Mediterranean menu that was equal parts Italian, Spanish, and invention, and dedicated to sourcing the finest prime ingredients both locally and in Avalle's home country of Italy. The culinary philosophy of il Buco is firmly rooted in the Italian tradition of seasonality and the integrity of all of the ingredients used in the restaurant. S.O.B.’s, also known as Sounds of Brazil, is a legendary live music venue in the lower Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo. It was opened by owner and director Larry Gold in June 1982. Gold opened the venue with the purpose of exposing the musical wealth and heritage of the Afro-Latino Diaspora to as many people as possible. True to its mission, it has become renowned as the premiere venue not only for World Music, but all genres, in New York City and the world over. The Vander Ende-Onderdonk House (circa 1709) is the city's oldest Dutch fieldstone house and is the oldest of its kind in the United States. What exactly is TUFFET? To put it another way, it's a cheese/meat/bar establishment. It consists of over a dozen handmade cheeses as well as eight prepared and cured meats and sausages. Craft beer and fine wine are on the menu. Cocktails and coffee will be served, as well as a seasonal sangria to brag about to your friends. A spot to work during the day and meet up with a friend for a date in the evening. When your flat is too tiny to accommodate your birthday celebration or when the occasion calls for something more elaborate. Alternatively, it may simply be your local tavern. SOHO Lofts has three unique film-friendly open lofts located in the heart of Manhattan's intimate SOHO district. These spaces are available for video, photo productions, corporate special events, and product launches. Three lofts which consist of ground floor / retail location, and attached basement, and a second floor. All these spaces could be either rented separately or combined. Privately owned, one-of-a-kind commercial loft spaces are available for rental on a daily or short-term basis. In the heart of Manhattan's SOHO district, this hotel is ideally situated. Product launches, exhibition spaces, fashion shows, film and television productions, and photo shoots are some of the most common uses for this type of space. The lofts have a total floor area of 30,000 square feet that can be customized to suit your needs. There are currently three lofts available: one on the ground floor, one on the lower level, and one on the second floor. There are also upper built-out floors available on the property as an option. This cast iron building, built in 1890 in a bustling area of Manhattan, was occupied by a famous textile manufacturing company at the time of its construction. Many of the original details can still be found in the lofts. Each loft is 10,000 square feet (50 x 200), and they are located on a stretch of Broadway between Mercer and Broadway streets. Natural light floods in through 15-foot-high sash windows that look out onto Mercer and Broadway. They also have an elevator. Thompson Square Studios is an Elevated Private Members Club located in the heart of fashionable Soho, New York, that is ideal for both work and play. We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. Established in 1901, Upper Montclair Country Club is a member-owned private golf and social club in Clifton, New Jersey, located 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan. The club's 27-hole championship course was designed by A.W. Tillinghast and Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and Upper Montclair is among a select few clubs worldwide to have hosted tournaments for all three major professional golf associations.
