The Red Blazer Restaurant has been a fixture in Concord, New Hampshire since March 2000, offering American dining alongside a full pub, bakery, and in-house butcher shop. Cliffside Lodge sits on the forested grounds of Camp North Star in Poland Spring, Maine, about 40 minutes north of Portland and 90 minutes from Boston. The timber-framed lodge draws on the aesthetic of early 20th-century Adirondack lodges — exposed ceiling beams, wide porches, and a working stone fireplace anchor the Great Room, which opens onto views of ponds, pine forests, and the distant western Maine mountains. Bass Rocks Golf Club is a private, member-owned club established in 1896 on 112 acres in East Gloucester, Massachusetts. Designed by Herbert Corey Leeds, the 18-hole par-69 links course delivers views of the Atlantic Ocean on nearly every hole, and the 14,000-square-foot clubhouse looks out over the course and Twin Lights. Murphy's Taproom, an Irish Restaurant and Taproom, opened its doors in Manchester, New Hampshire, in April 2007. The Taproom, which has a casual, pub-like atmosphere, has 120 taps of draft beer, making it the largest selection in the state. Keith Murphy and his family have expanded the restaurant since opening, adding a separate room for functions and live music, a two-story deck with seating for over 350 people, and a popular diner next door that serves breakfast and lunch until 3 p.m. seven days a week. Residents of Bedford and proprietors Keith Murphy were on the lookout for the ideal location in which to open a second location in the city. Murphy's Restaurant in Bedford, New Hampshire, has been in business since July of this year. Ferncroft Country Club occupies 287 acres of gently rolling land in Middleton, Massachusetts, 16 miles north of downtown Boston. Founded in 1969 around an 18-hole championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the club opens its clubhouse to non-members for private celebrations, offering four configurable event spaces complemented by in-house culinary service. The Jones Room accommodates up to 100 guests in a naturally lit space with wall-to-wall windows, an oak fireplace, and a large attached outdoor deck overlooking the course — well suited to seated dinners, cocktail receptions, and corporate meetings alike.
