Temescal Beach House is a historic lakeside event venue in Oakland's Temescal Regional Recreation Area, situated along the shores of Lake Temescal near the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 24. The structure was built by the Works Progress Administration and opened to the public in 1940, originally serving as changing facilities for park visitors and the original headquarters of the East Bay Regional Park District. Today the venue is managed by the East Bay Regional Park District and welcomes weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, and private celebrations. The Beach House offers two connected indoor rooms and a large outdoor flagstone patio. The Fireside Room seats up to 56 guests around a gas fireplace, while the adjoining Lakeview Meeting Room seats 24 and features large windows framing views of the calm lake. Together the rooms accommodate up to 80 guests seated or 130 standing. The wraparound flagstone patio — bordered by a vertical garden with panoramic lake views — serves as a popular ceremony and reception extension. Included amenities span a prep kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, and microwave; heating and air conditioning; Wi-Fi; a 65-inch television with soundbar; a dressing room; tables and 90 white resin chairs; and a dedicated 15-space parking lot. Events with hired catering must use the District's approved caterer list; a bring-your-own food option is available for gatherings ending by 7 p.m.

The Golf Club at Copper Valley is a full-service golf resort and event venue nestled in California's Gold Country, approximately two hours east of San Francisco and two hours south of Sacramento. The clubhouse sits above a championship 18-hole golf course with views of the surrounding lake and Sierra Nevada foothills, providing a scenic backdrop for weddings, corporate retreats, and private celebrations. The Grandview Room seats up to 165 guests and features vaulted ceilings, hanging chandeliers, and large windows; it connects to an outdoor side patio to expand cocktail-style capacity to 250. The Old Whaling Station Historic Adobe & Gardens is a nationally registered historic landmark situated in Monterey's Heritage Harbor, steps from Fisherman's Wharf and Monterey Bay. Built in 1847 by Scottish adventurer David Wight as a family residence, the two-story adobe later served as headquarters for the Old Monterey Whaling Company in the 1850s — giving the property its enduring name. Since 1980, the Junior League of Monterey County has leased the adobe from the California State Department of Parks and Recreation, operating it as a historic house museum and event venue. The property offers both indoor and outdoor settings for weddings, receptions, parties, corporate gatherings, and other private events. Interior spaces include a formal dining room, a living room with fireplace, and a sunroom decorated with antique furnishings.
