  The La Jolla Woman's Club is a one-block walk from the beach in the heart of La Jolla Village. The club is a magical venue for any special occasion, with its exquisite private gardens, historic Irving Gill structure, and ocean view. Weddings The ceremony garden in the south is beautiful, with colorful plantings and a decorative bridge. You can face the European style fountain or the old English oak tree in the front ceremonial garden. Floral balls or lanterns are commonly hung from the tree during rituals facing the tree. A third option is to face the ancient building's front doors, with the ceremony taking place in front of the famed arched arches. Our brides and grooms enjoy the use of our exclusive ladies and gentleman's lounges to relax with their attendants prior to the ceremony, whether it takes place on the adjacent seaside or within one of our gardens.   The Loft at Liz’s art gallery in Los Angeles features both emerging and established artists and artisans, fostering an open dialogue between eclectic and diverse points of view, ideologies and experiences. Located in the historic Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles, the hardware store was born in 1979 when Liz happened upon a 4000 square foot warehouse in Chicago filled to the brim with objects culled by a local picker from garage sales, abandoned buildings, and flea markets. Liz purchased the contents, and with her keen eye set to work organizing the haphazard menagerie into a successful wholesale hardware department store. In 1992 the business relocated to Los Angeles, where Liz’s Antique Hardware remains a staple for the Southern California antique and interior design community. Our space is a 1,200+ sq ft New York style loft with weathered hardwood floors, wood ceiling beams and plenty of natural light. A fine art gallery open to the public daily, exhibits are changed bi-monthly. Art exhibits are thematically curated. Please contact gallery staff for upcoming or current exhibit details. Decor features vintage lighting and antique hardware. Two staircases lead up to the loft: one is accessed through the store and a private entrance is conveniently accessed through the back alley.
