They met in 2016 while both were employed full-time by AT&T. Sarah began decorating small parties for family and friends when she first started out, with ambitions to one day work as an event planner. Devin supported her ideas while also searching for his own life's meaning and calling. He hopes to make a positive contribution to the community. As time went on and their family and duties increased, their ambition began to wane and it became simply impossible to achieve. After their wedding in February 2020, she felt that now was the time for her to give it another shot. As a result of Covid-19, the entire world was forced to shut down the following month. Their ambition had been shattered yet another time. They both continued to work for AT&T, and subsequently concluded that we needed a location where people could communicate in a way that had an impact on society. On June 13, 2021, the Creole Soiree restaurant in Broussard officially opened its doors. They are now members of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, and they host a monthly community involvement event every month.   Blythewood Event Center & Bed & Breakfast is a historic Greek Revival mansion built in 1885, set on grounds shaded by oak trees and bordered by a camellia garden in Amite, Louisiana. The property was purchased by the Kennedy family in 1970, has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has operated as an event center since 1980 — one of the longest-running private event estates in the region. Inside, guests are welcomed by a grand piano in the main hallway, with a ballroom and intimate dining rooms suited to celebrations from small dinners to full receptions. The surrounding gardens and wraparound porches provide a natural backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours. Blythewood specializes in the "Weekend Wedding," a multi-day format that gives the wedding party and close family exclusive use of the entire mansion from Friday through Sunday, including bed and breakfast accommodations and a full breakfast each morning.   It all started here. Antoine’s Restaurant is still owned and operated by fifth generation relatives of the original founder, Antoine Alciatore. The world-renowned French-Creole cuisine, impeccable service, and unique atmosphere have combined to create an unmatched dining experience in New Orleans since 1840. With a capacity of over 700 people, our luxurious private rooms can accommodate groups of 14 to 300 people. Both the first and second floors of the hotel are home to Antoine's Private Rooms. There are balconies on some of the second-floor dining rooms with views of St Louis Street. A stairwell and an elevator provide access to all second-floor rooms.
