When you come to Seventh Story, you step into the creative heart of Nashville. Distressed brick, factory doors, red velvet curtains, and Edison bulbs set a cinematic tone. Vintage furniture and layered textures give every corner warmth and history. This isn’t a ballroom or a barn — it’s a venue with personality. A little gritty, a little glamorous, and completely Nashville. • Three unique event spaces • On-site + street parking • Two private dressing suites • Open vendor policy (preferred list available) • Flexible for weddings, live music, film shoots and creative events Once home to Nashville’s most iconic recordings, this Berry Hill landmark helped define the sound of American music. Within these walls, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, and B.J. Thomas made music with the guidance of legendary producer Chips Moman. Songs like Highwayman, Pancho and Lefty, Always on my Mind, Hooked on a feeling, Mama’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys, Another somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song, Good Ol’ Boys (Dukes of Hazzard Theme), and more were recorded here. Today, Seventh Story Studio + Events continues that creative tradition. If you want to organize a wedding or any private event at The Optimist, it is possible for the entire venue to be closed off just for you. On Adams Street, there hasn't been a high tide since 1902, when a severe storm dumped a giant bucket's worth of seawater inside the TD&W Handle Company. Since then, there hasn't been a high tide. The structure currently offers guests the luxury and delight of modern housing while retaining the appeal of its rich past. The freshest seafood the sea has to offer, in addition to spacious dining rooms, a breezy terrace paradise, an elegant upper bar, and other amenities such as these. We often find ourselves daydreaming about long-lost friends and exciting new adventures in which the sun brings joy and the rain showers blessings. The menu at this restaurant, which is located in the Germantown Hammer Mill complex and features plenty of indoor and outdoor dining as well as a breezy bar above, is always evolving; nonetheless, an extravagant seafood tower and oysters are always a terrific place to begin. EATER Nashville has compiled a list of the top 20 restaurants in the city to visit for a meal on a Monday, and The Optimist is one of them. We hope you choose our restaurant to enjoy your time whether you are just gathering with some friends or celebrating something special.

Ramble Creek is a private estate wedding venue in the East Tennessee Valley, at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, roughly an hour from both Knoxville and Chattanooga. Built in 2016, the property centers on an 8,000-square-foot Grand Hall built with wood harvested and milled on-site, and its grounds include a Muscadine vineyard, a pond, and a covered bridge. Four ceremony sites give couples a mix of indoor and outdoor settings: the Vine Arbor, tucked among natural muscadine vines; the Upper Lawn, set beside the vineyard with sweeping valley views; the Lower Lawn, a quiet forest setting suited to more personalized layouts; and the Grand Hall itself, which doubles as a climate-controlled backup for outdoor ceremonies. Ramble Creek operates as an all-inclusive venue, handling catering, cake and desserts, floral design, DJ and sound, hair and makeup, coordination, an ordained officiant, guest shuttles, and décor all with its own in-house teams, including a full-time Executive Chef who prepares every dish in a dedicated on-site kitchen. The Bridal Suite offers six styling stations along with a lounge and private bathroom, while the Groom's Quarters sits beneath the Grand Hall with its own lounge, games, and private restrooms. Couples and their guests can also stay on the property: The Manor, The Villa, and The Cottage together sleep up to 42 guests within steps of the celebration, each with its own hot tub, and The Manor adds a pool with a grotto and waterfall. The venue accommodates up to 300 guests overall and has hosted more than 500 weddings.

The home was occupied by three generations of one family until Evelyn Montgomery Hazen's 1989 will established it as a museum, and it is known as Knoxville's only historic house museum to retain its original family collection, with more than 2,500 artifacts on display. The 7.5-acre property also includes a Level 1 arboretum of 32 tree species, a 1924 Craftsman-style guest house, and Bethel Cemetery. For weddings and private events, the grounds accommodate up to approximately 250 guests, with a fully lit and powered gazebo for ceremonies or receptions, a long brick pathway suited to processionals, and open lawn space for tents and large gatherings. Couples planning a ceremony can also make use of the outdoor chapel setup along the home's front porch walkway. The venue is LGBTQ+ friendly and does not require couples to use specific vendors or caterers. The Julia Meek Guest House, a separate 1,200-square-foot Craftsman-style building on the west side of the property, offers a more intimate option for up to 35 guests, with a full kitchen, adjustable furniture, and a private parking lot. It hosts everything from wedding showers and rehearsal dinners to corporate meetings and retreats.
