He has worked as a firefighter for the City of Fort Worth for the past 30 years after being honorably retired from the military in 1986. Julie Rogers, a native of California, spent her early years in the business world, including several years with The Walt Disney Company, where she planned and handled a variety of large-scale corporate special events, parties, and offsite meetings. Julie is also a talented photographer and flower designer with over 25 years of experience breeding Arabian show horses. On the day of your event, the venue rental is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (14 hours). 45 - 6' rectangular tables and 250 white outdoor chairs are provided.     Garden Heights West is a country wedding and event venue in Atascosa, just west of downtown San Antonio, built around a stand of live oak trees, a gazebo, and a converted authentic barn. Operating since 2009, the venue has grown from a rustic-glamour ceremony backdrop into a full-service celebration destination for weddings, birthdays, and reunions. Ceremonies take place beneath the property's mature live oaks or at the gazebo, while receptions move into the Barn Reception Hall, which seats up to 200 guests and includes a dance area, a wet bar, and tables and seating. The venue's on-site design and planning team provides lighting and decor services alongside a personal wedding consultant, and offers both DIY event packages and all-inclusive planning for couples working with a range of budgets.

    Cotton Creek Barn is a family-owned wedding and event venue in Tahoka, Texas, set in the middle of a working cotton field in the farming community of New Home. Owners Kent and Mitzi Bruton, a longtime area farmer and teacher, spent about two years building most of the venue themselves before it hosted its first wedding in July 2013. The property incorporates reclaimed materials gathered from the original New Home Cotton Gin, abandoned barns and farmhouses, and fences from around the community, along with vintage signage collected over the years. The venue's Main Barn, built from rusted tin and reclaimed fence wood, holds up to around 300 guests and serves as the setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, along with birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, and other events. The Olde Grain Barn, the property's first addition, dates to 1951 and seats up to 150 guests for a ceremony; it doubles as a rain backup space and a spot for rehearsal dinners on its adjoining patio. Additional features on the grounds include a bridal suite, a groom's quarters known as the Old Farm House, and Mabel, a more than 35-foot elm tree that shades outdoor ceremonies.
